I just found out that Fleetwood Mac is listed on the Mohegan Sun Casino's website for 2 shows on 3-31-2006 - 1 show at 7pm and the other at 10pm. It looks valid enough. I guess we can just keep checking to see if it's true.

Click on Entertainment and FM is on page 2.

That's weird.
On ticketmaster there's a listing for a different show that day:
"Fri, 03/31/06
07:30 PM Friday Night Fights-Boxing Find Tickets
on sale now "

I just called the Mohegan Sun and they said they will definitely be there!! AND the seats are FREE, first come first serve (if you're staying there I guess) - 4 40 minute sets with 20 minute breaks in between, they're playing in the Wolf's den - maybe the boxing is in one of the other arenas there.

DANG!!! I should have moved to the East Coast already! Oh well. Maybe they will come West next??
I hope this is really happening. First come first serve seating sounds like an AWESOME advantage for real fans! Maybe the first 5 rows will be all East-Coast Ledgies??

I knew I should've moved to Vegas last year so I could've seen Stevie!
Don't you think that's an awful lot of equipment, roadies, people, etc. for just one night?

Just called Mohegan Sun. First they said, yes it is FM that's playing, then after she spoke to a manager, found out that it's a cover band, something like "Classic Sounds of Fleetwood Mac." I knew it was too good to be true, since the Wolf Den at Mohegan is a very small and intimate venue and concerts there are free. I said they better update the website, which has a photo of Rumours and a caption of Fleetwood Mac March 31, if they don't want a stampede on their hands.
Incidentally I did see Kansas play a free concert at the Wolf Den last year and they were awesome!

they also have a link to the Mac's website - they'd better remove that too! Talk about jump starting my heart!

Maybe Lindsey and Stevie are going to duke it out until the death in a Fleetwood Mac boxing match?
Oh...just read it was an FM cover band.

ARG! Yes, they are listed! I called and confirmed also, and it's true that it's free to guests. The hotel is completely booked right now though! FRIG! I only live an 1.5 hours away!
OOOH, just read the post about it being a cover band too! WHEW!

Oh well. Sorry to get people all excited, but as you can see I couldn't tell from their site that it was a cover band - especially with the Rumours cover as the photo next to the listing! And yeah- they'd better get the Mac link off of there!

Oh, no need to be sorry! It would be worse if it was really them and you didn't pass along the info! Besides, if it was them and the hotel is already booked I'd be really upset. It's a good thing that they were booked because if I had made reservations based on FM playing there, then found out later it was a cover band I'd be pissed.
On Edit: I see Mohegan Sun has already changed the listing to "Classic Albums Live 'Rumours' Fleetwood Mac".
