I love this movie and think Faye should have rec. an Oscar nod. Sadly, it was just too over the top. Instead, it swept the Razzies!!!! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082766/awards

You're welcome. Come to think of it, it's been 25 years since it was released, so I guess this new edition has something to do with that. I hope it has commentary with Faye Dunaway.

it never gets any better than Faye. that bitch could play a hobo and utter one word and I'd kill over.
I've always wanted her to play the lead role in a remake of the movie Madame X.

If nothing else, she should have gotten a nomination for having the balls to even take that part.

special features always surprise me. take Barbra Streisand, for instance. possibly the biggest female superstar and when all of her movies were re-issued on DVD, the only special features were commentaries by her, most of which were already included on the VHS issues 10-15 years earlier. I mean, there are tons of outtakes, etc. that could have been included, but what did we get, nada.
ok, I'm over it

Yeah, that sucks. Especially since the SEs are always $15 more.

This reminds me of when I was a social work major at SDSU back in the mid 1980s .Christina Crawford did a seminar about child abuse at the Scottish Rite Temple there in San Diego .My then boyfriend and I sat in the front row and sitting there smack dab in front of the podium was a Joan Crawford impersonater. a real female who actually looked more like Faye as Joan
than the real Joan .Chrsitina spent the whole seminar trying not to look at the impersonater and when it was over the Joan impersonater went up to Christina and gave her a signed picture of herself stating 'people say I look like your mother'I knew this because I made sure my mug was right next to them so I could hear everything. The Joan impersonater even made the evening news when they asked why she went to the seminar she replied "Because I wanted to hear about child abuse" I felt for awhile as if I was actually stuck in a scene from Mommie Dearest.
F*ck! I just bought the current DVD version. I might just have to pawn it and buy the new one if the special features are worth it. Since the current ones are non-existant...
