I was on Billboard looking at Stevie's chart history (I'm bored today  ), and I clicked through the pictures of her until coming upon this:

http://billboard.com/bbcom/images/pref_images/p15335v15jd.jpg

I mean, it looks like Stevie, and the tall guy resembles Mike Campbell, but (assuming it's her) what in the world is this from?

And on a side note: the legs look fab, and that top is cool in a weird way.

Also, under her chart history, the following were listed:

1993 "Out Of Space" Hot Dance Music/Club Play Peak:42

1993 "Wind It Up" Hot Dance Music/Club Play Peak:7

1992 "Everybody In The Place" Hot Dance Music/Club Play Peak:21

1992 "Fire" Hot Dance Music/Club Play Peak:28

What? Could those be some kind of DJ remixes, or are the Billboard webmasters just on drugs? And, the new Deep Dish version of "Dreams" isn't listed at all even though it's her song and she's the guest vocalist, so...

Here's the page link:

Wow - I've never seen that pic. Too small to see it very well - is that her? Who's she with? Interesting...

"tall guy" is DEFINITELY NOT Mike Campbell.

Why does this chart start with 1983? Where are the Bella Donna songs?

isn't this the band The Prodigy?

not necessarily the picture, but the song info

It's a very unstevielike pose (she doesn't cross her legs like that & she doesn't bare them like that) -- not to mention those guys seem to have no connection to her career. Is it possible her head has been plastered on with Photoshop to someone else's body?

There's a blurb on there somewhere that says the info only goes back 20 years. But considering it's 2006, and the last WH songs are on there...

I think I've settled on the "Billboard people on drugs" theory.

the picture makes me think of Bette Davis in Wicked Stepmother

the guy in the scarf looks familiar tho.

I think it's all jacked up.

The woman looks a lot like Sara Recor Fleetwood, to me.

Is that the country band Highway 101 (whose lead singer sounds a bit Nicks-y)?

That's not Stevie. Those aren't her legs. This looks like a photo from the 80's, and she didn't have straight hair like that back then. Also - those songs aren't hers...they belong to Prodigy...but that photo doesn't look like Prodigy. Or maybe it is...the guy on the floor looks like that weird one you see singing Firestarter...but a woman?

The guy to the left of the woman looks like Paul Weller. Judging from the style and the haircuts - it could be the early 80's version of The Style Council, which he was a part of. They had a woman in the band for a while. Nah...probably some early version of Prodigy.

that's what I was saying. it's definitely not Highway 101.

I'm almost positive it's the Prodigy - they had a female member for a while.

I'm going with the legs theory. Never thought I'd have to say that again

God, you really know you're obsessed when you can recognise an artist by their legs .... but you're right, she doesn't cross them.

I remain confused, however.

So, I just wasted 30 minutes of my life looking around a Prodigy website, before I realized the obvious from the photo on said website's front page: Two of the founding (and still current) members are black.

Currently checking on Style Council, since this *seems* to be an '80s picture.

I don't get the "crossed legs" theory, since this is a staged photo, and if her legs weren't crossed she'd be poking the guy on the floor in the kidneys. Not to mention the necessity of crossing them in the super-short skirt. But I've so rarely seen her legs that I agree it's completely weird.

Currently checking on Style Council, since this *seems* to be an '80s picture. Those guys are dressed in High '80s style: those sleeveless things & the pointy shoes & spandex. It's like a photo of the guys in Blondie circa 1981. Stevie's hair in the photo is 1991 or after, so that doesn't fit.

It looks like the body of some slender, leggy model, very Studio 54ish.

Stevie is (or was) a ballerina, a sprite of the air, a fleeting spirit of the Kingdom of Faerieville.

I think the face looks very obviously photoshopped in.

I'm wondering if this is Berlin or Missing Persons?

These listings are actually not the Billboard charts. It is the "ARC Top 40" chart...which I've never heard of.
