There's also a contest running this year - CBS is giving away a 5 day trip to one of the Race's destinations each week. I can't find the damn contest form on the site, though, so maybe it'll be there after tonight's show.

Phil was on CBS This Morning today & he said that the fans really voiced their opinions about the family edition - they definitely wanted the 2 member teams back.

I think I will definetely have to watch tonight, 8pm right? It's very hard to follow a lot of shows to me, but I will try. I'm already addicted to Survivor, Big Brother and American Idol..I got into Prison Break, but missed a few and lost it.

Phil was on CBS This Morning today & he said that the fans really voiced their opinions about the family edition - they definitely wanted the 2 member teams back.

The family shows lacked the exotic locations and really challenging tasks that we are used to seeing. I did enjoy the season but not nearly as much as others. Still, that show with the families was much better than most other reality shows.

Paula, I was just coming to post the same thing. I posted on the Stevie board awhile back that they begin in Red Rocks (which isn't really that much of a spoiler since you can see it in the commercials....

Anyone interested in forming a league and playing the fantasy game on realiiity.com? I was just going to make my picks for tonight, but they've posted that it won't be ready in time and to check back for next week.

So, we have time, if anyone's interested. It's a lot of fun, and makes the show more fun to watch. You pick 4 teams to be on "your" team - and answer questions like who comes in first, who gets Philiminated, will a FF be used, etc. Once we get to know the players better, they'll add silly questions, like "Does so-and-so call his wife a beeyotch," etc. (Remember Jonathan? Oy! They loved to pick on him). You get points based on correct answers and your team's performance (whether they are smart/dumb, friendly/Ugly American, etc.)

Big Brother hasn't started up again yet. In fact, I haven't even heard anything about the next season. :shrug:

The hippies are kickass. :nod: I love the Glamazons too ("I think...yup, I just peed a little in my pants!" LOL!) Not a fan of Lake, he seems dicky. I thought Ray was going to beat down those Brazilians for hooting at his wife, but he kept his cool. His wife is sweet, she keeps him calm ("How would you feel if you had a big black man behind you saying 'Yo, how much further?'") Barry & Fran are cool, and I like the mother/daughter & the nerds. The rest kind of blend together for me.

Good riddance to the "gay team". God, they were dull. And whiny. And slow. :wavey:

Glamazons are funny - "Did you fart?" I loved that the gay guys called them "The Frosties."

Barbie and Ken - bwah! And the whole convo the hippies had re: "new Ken - anatomically correct..." :laugh:

I love the mom/daughter team. And love that they called the older couple "Team Einstein."

One great advantage of the realiiity.com peeps not having their sh*t together yet - we got introduced to all the teams first, before we had to pick 'em. I think I'm gonna go with mother/daughter, the frat boys, Ray and his gf and the hippies.

I agree, they rock. I couldn't believe they were first up the ampitheater! The nicknames too, "Scott Peterson" though? :shocked: That was just wrong. :lol:

My roommate and I totally called that the guy guys would be first to go. Although that didn't take too much brain power to figure out.

There hasn't been a non-elim yet - 2 weeks ago, they did a "to be continued" (it's too much baby....ahem...sorry) long leg, 2 pit stops episode - the mom/daughter team got Philiminated last week...

On the latest episode, the blonde girls got Philiminated - Lake and Michelle (I think it was them?) helped, by yielding them at the roadblock - first time we've seen a yield this season. We haven't seen a fast-forward available yet. Perhaps next week?

Yeah, Lake sucks. He probably did something to them earlier on. Oh yeah he did! He told them he was going to help them build the motorcycle when he was done and then left them high and dry. Eff him.

There didn't seem to be a strategic reason for it (strategery-son? :lol: ). The Pinks would still be in it if they hadn't done that. It was unnecessarily cruel.

oh goodness what a disturbing picture LOL. BJ is sickeningly pale. and I am finding the guy on the left (eric? who's who??) really hot and i never even liked him on the show LOL. :laugh: and Tyler reminds me of the guy I adored in freshman year of college. a weird pic all around.
