Hey everybody, Not to interupt all of the Stevie news with a different thread, but I just wanted to encourage you guys if you have not seen them to go and see the Bella Donna tribute band.(if they come to your area. they just did phoenix this weekend) Michelle sings all of the stevie songs that we all long to hear, and she's got the moves and the costumes down pat! I was really impressed. Me and some friends got our picture taken w/ michelle, so, I am going to *ATTEMPT* to post them now, I have tried manny times to post pics in my sig and stuff and failed before, so on a related note, if you are particularly skilled
in this area, would you "pm" me, or direct me to a thread where "how to post pics has been discussed, thanks. [http://www.belladonna-music.com

They are showing up ok for me. Great photo :)
To put pics in your sig, you have to upload them to a site like Photobucket.com or Imageshack.com. I'm not familiar with Imageshack, but I use Photobucket a lot; you can just sign up for a free account and when you upload a photo, it will display 3 different kinds of "tags" underneath it to allow you to post the picture as a hyperlink or embedded image. Just copy the one that starts out with "< img src=" etc, and paste it into your signature in the control panel. It should work.
I totally agree about Bella Donna. I saw them once at the Canyon Club and was pretty impressed. They put on a great show!

as far as the band Bella Donna goes...ehhh, I don't really like them. I don't mean to dash on anyone's likes, but the lead singer, imo, is just terrible. :sorry:

Don't get me wrong, she's definatley NO Stevie! (but, then again, who is) For me, It was more about the expierience. Going with friends, and singing along to all of the songs, and meeting other fans and stuff. It helps to tide me over till our girl comes back to our side of the ocean. When there is a "Stevie sort of gathering" it is just a fun thing to go and do. Speeking of hey have you heard anything from the night of athousand stevie people latley? What have you decided to sing?

yeah, I can totally see that. it does look like the overall experience would be fun.
As for NOTS, I got an invitation. I just booked a room in SoHo this past weekend and shot about 300 frames of photos for the program and possibly the poster (if they choose my picture) - now I have to narrow them down to about 4 or 5. I have been working on outfits, etc. As far as what I'm singing, I don't think I'm supposed to say, but let's just say I'm really anxious. hint hint.

You're not the only one that feels that way
I like her costumes and all that stuff she's got the look pretty down pat, but her singing is not my favorite. I'm glad that she's got support though, it's nice to see that.

I never saw them in person because they usually don't play any further south than Universal City Boardwalk. But if they start playing casinos down San Diego way, I'll try to go see them. I've been wanting to see them for a long time. I have seen their video on their old site & listened to their MP3s.
I like the way they cover Stevie at the brink of her new solo career (when other Stevie tributes usually cover later years, like a Timespace show, because the lead singer is often heavy so she dresses up that way), but I wish they'd be more adventurous with their set list. A tribute band is in a perfect position to really break out the weird & unusual.

Well, everyone has an opinion, and here is mine... Michelle is a terrific Stevie impersonator. She has the costume and movements down pat. When I play her CD people think it's the real Stevie Nicks. OK, I know she wouldn't fool most people here.
And, whoever posted that Bella Donna doesn't go south (I think it was David) missed the Pala Casino show this month, near Temecula.
