Sheryl Crow Breast Cancer Surgery!

I just heard on Fox 5 News that Sheryl Crow had surgury on Wednesday to remove breast cancer (in the early stages). They said she is currently in the hospital recovering, and her prognosis is excellent, but that she had to post-pone her Wildflower Tour. This is ironic, because wasn't it just a few weeks ago when we were all speculating on a rumour that Stevie had breast cancer? Interesting... :rolleyes:

i know you didn't mean that lightly - but it could be construed as such. sheryl really was treated for breast cancer - it was on the wires tonight at work. whether it was early stage or not, i'm sure it was pretty frightening for her. i found the news disturbing, personally, only because it seems like more and more often recetly, people i know of or people i know personally are being diagnosed with cancer.

^^ from what i've read, it sounds to me like they broke up and she found out afterwards. he has been in contact with her since. i'm sure he's provided support to her. i think anyone who's gone through cancer himself could only have sympathy and want to help someone else going through it - especially someone you loved.

I feel so bad for Sheryl. What a year - breaking up with Lance and now this. And the year's hardly started. I wish her well in her recovery and hope she makes it through radiation with minimal side effects. Maybe Stevie can visit her and provide some homemade chicken soup!
