About an hour & a half ago, the Queen Mary 2 sailed into Long Beach Harbor and said "hello" to the original Queen Mary. My office is right across the bay.

Some co-workers took photos with their cell-phone cameras, I'll post them if/when they email them to me.

No, no, no, steve. Don't be sad! That is very cool. I was on a conference call this morning with a co-worker in Seattle & another in Phoenix, & we were talking about the new Queen Mary & they were asking me whether it was bigger than the old Queen Mary, & I had no idea!

We used to have a 21-foot sailboat that we sailed up & down the coast, always past the Queen Mary. For my 21st birthday, a big group of people -- some of whom I didn't even know -- took me to the fancy restaurant (the Prince George or something) aboard the Queen Mary & I had my first publicly official, legit drink!

That sounds pretty cool Chili. Please share any photos with us.

Here is photo that I took of the QM2 back on July 4th, 2004 when she sailed into Newport, RI.

Patti,

I remember when you first posted that photo. It's beautiful! The photo of Lindsey in your sig. however; is another story! It's the most unflattering photo I think I've seen of him! It's as if Kramer and Keith Richards had a baby.

Thanks. The LB photo I found on a fansite and thought that it was perfect for his 'solo project' update.

I've been thinking that pic of Lindsey looks like Keith Richards, since I first saw it. What a BAD pic! Take that, pretty boy!

I looked at them right away and talked about them with a guy at work. Actually, it was the guy who was a drummer on TUSK. Anyway, he said very cool. I'm not sure why the hullabaloo, or what the significance is, but I thought it was cool to see two big boats...:o

This photo was taken with a cell-phone camera by a co-worker out my office window. In real life, the Queen Mary doesn't look that far away...the perspective of the lens of the camera makes things look further in the distance, I guess.

"Blimpie" is the Ameriquest Blimp.

Everyone should be so lucky as to have that kind of view from their office. Your guitar spot ain't too shabby either.

You up for the Midnight Ghost tour?

A couple more (and better) photos (slight variation in angle due to different co-worker...with a better camera):
