This is such a funny story...


I woke up this morning at about 7.15 am, had a shower and went upstairs, i had class at 8.00, so i did'nt have time to sit down and eat, so i was pouring myself a drink and the phone rings...

It turned out to be Classic Hits FM, my mother had emailed them a few days earlier saying how I am going to all three NZ concerts, how im completely obsessed blah blah.. and they interviewed me over the radio!!!

To cut a long story short, they put me in the "Grant A Dream" contest to meet Stevie!!!!!!

How freakin cool is that :thumbsup:

My mother doesn't really care for Stevie much :distress: My brother loves her alot, so hopefully if i win, i'll take him :thumbsup:

As much as I would like to meet Stevie, I don't think I could. For instance, my ability to speak proper English would fly out the window the minute I laid eyes on her up close.. I would completely embarrass myself and thus hate myself for the rest of my life. I think it's best if I just stick to concerts and her albums. :laugh:

Why don't our stations have meet stevie contests?! I won tickets, and they were stupid lawn seats. :mad:

But seriously, what on earth do you say?! Where do you begin, more like it. What can you possibly say that she hasn't heard a thousand and one times already?

I'm going with the falling down at her feet and worshipping her approach. Though maybe I'll save that for Buckingham. :rolleyes:

That Is so freekin cool!! I bet Words can not describe how excited you've gotta be. I hope it happens!!!:blob2: :blob2: Meeting stevie will ALWAYS be one of the hilights of my life.. Don't worry about saying anything stupid, she will make you feel comfortable.

neato, & much luck!!!~ i had won a contest during the TISL tour & won front row seats for 2 & backstage passes to meet stevie, needless to say i was freaking ecstatic!!!~ but unfortunately, mine was 1 of the shows she cancelled, i was so crushed!!!~ i hope you win!!!~

Sigh... I've been there with the crushed thing. I got back a couple times, once REALLY thinking I was gonna meet her, but it didn't work out. I had to watch her and Karen walk right by me and out to the limo, each holding a Yorkie. I found out later that she was fighting an illness that night, but the night it happened I was CRUSHED. :(
Good luck and I hope you meet her!! I've heard from MANY people that Stevie is really cool and does make you feel comfortable (as mentioned above). :) As for me, I've decided if I'm supposed to meet her one day, destiny will make it happen.
