Thanks guys for the info!

So - no HUGE surprises, but Beautiful Child is a nice addition to the solo set. I would honestly prfer a solo tune to a Mac one, but she sings her heart out on that tune so it's fine by me. Appears it has replaced Circle Dance. Maybe she feels that it's her highlight from the SYW tour & wanted it on the DVD.

Yay Sorcerer and R&R! :blob1: IFA was a bit too slow for me in Vegas, but the a capella harmonies at the end are gorgeous, so that's cool. No HSML, though, huh? Oh well, I'm pretty happy with this.

Which tunes were done w/ the Symphony? Anyone know? I'll check the link...

We can't really say for sure, since Brian only got about 10 second snippets of all the songs...I'm sure someone will be here soon to enlighten us. :)

Oh, and Stevie did some retakes after the show, so it's definitely being recorded. :wavey:

Does a Stevie setlist really count as a "spoiler"? You might as well say, "Warning: spoiler for the movie Titanic...

...the boat sinks!"

Well, since there are several Aussies on Seven Wonders who don't want to know what the setlist is before they see some of the other shows, as a courtesy to them, i put "SPOILER" in the title...

Beautiful Child
If Anyone Falls
Rock And Roll

are not exactly staples in Stevie's setlist...

^Yeah, well, we're so used to doing that now, even though they're not really spoilers. :p

So according to Brian, he thinks the following may have been done with the orchestra, but due to the 10 second snippets, this is NOT official:

Rhiannon
Sorcerer
BC
GDW
Landslide
B&tB

He sounded realatively sure about GDW, Landslide & Beauty.

Thanks to Stella, who I don't think posts here but does post on 7W. She's the one who called Brian with the info.

EDIT - Oh, hi Brian! Thanks for all of this.

Is it safe to assume that this is another professionally recorded performance we'll never see in the stores. Honestly, I think Stevie's got release phobia. Her answer: what's the point?

I KNOW!!! I don't get her attitude lately. Just because the music industry has changed is no reason to just stop recording. What about all the many, many fans who are dying to hear some new Stevie recordings. Has she forgotten about us??

Screw off. Are we supposed to apologize for not fawning over every single thing the woman does, or for making jokes about the staleness of her setlists? If you don't like reading posts from people with reasonable opinions, you're free to put either me or Brandon on ignore. Apparently, you've already ignored all of the other posts we've made which include positive comments about Stevie and her work.

Thank you Brian and Stella!:wavey:

Well I got half my guess right with Circle Dance being gone. Would have been cool if it were replaced with something like At Last or a solo ballad like Sleeping Angel, but I'm sure BC is lovely. Hope everyone had a blast at the show and can't wait for the DVD.

Outside the Rain - appeared on Red Rocks DVD

Dreams - appeared on Red Rocks DVD

Rhiannon - potentially w/orchestra

Sorcerer - Trouble In Shangri-La "new" song, concert version never released officially

Enchanted - concert version never released officially

Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You - appeared on Red Rocks DVD

Stand Back - appeared on Red Rocks DVD, appeared on FM:Live In Boston DVD

If Anyone Falls - concert version never released officially

Beautiful Child - appeared on FM: Live In Boston DVD, never performed in solo concert

Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - appeared with other songs on HBO 1981 Concert VHS - but not available officially on DVD

Gold Dust Woman - potentially w/orchestra

Fall From Grace - Trouble In Shangri-La "new" song, concert version never released officially

Landslide - potentially w/orchestra

Edge of Seventeen - appeared on Red Rocks DVD

Roll and Roll - "new" cover song, never released by Stevie

Beauty and the Beast - appeared on Red Rocks DVD

--- So, *5* songs that were on Red Rocks (the only official Stevie Solo concert *DVD* that's out there), with *11* songs pretty much showcased in ways that they haven't been before (not to mention those Red Rocks songs that get the orchestra treatment!). I'm happy with this...and REALLY hope that if this is released, that it might be Stevie's "The Dance" in terms of quality and importance...

No, I would have liked that also. I just figured she wouldn't do it because it was kind of her goodbye song to her dad and might be too sad now.

I'd much rather have CD as we already have BC on the Live in Boston DVD. If not CD, then I would have preferred for the ballad:

Sleeping Angel, Storms, Nightbird, After The Glitter Fades, Highwayman, Kind of Woman, I Miss You, Crystal, Reconsider Me

Nice set! I like it better than the Gold Dust Tour I saw here in California.

It better see a DVD release. I want to hear (and see) some of the arrangements with the orchestra.

Edit: And if I gripe for a moment...I would have liked to see Angel in the set.

Another Edit: Rooms On Fire should have replaced Enchanted or Sorcerer.

I was really hoping she'd perform "Circle Dance," so that we could have an official recording of it... but, as has been said, I pretty much expected it would be dropped since Mr. Nicks has passed away.

The rest of the setlist is pretty close to what I expected. Nice surprise with the inclusion of "Beautiful Child" though, and I'm glad she kept "Rock And Roll," instead of the standard "I Need To Know."

All in all, it's not a deviation from Stevie's usual setlist choices, but the majority of these are songs that haven't been performed on Australian stages in two decades. And some have never been performed in front of Aussie audiences.

Danax6's comment that she did retakes after the performance, gives me hope that we'll definitely see a DVD release.

As for the retakes I heard she did Outside the Rain and Dreams twice...

I remember going to the first Enchanted show in Hartford and thinking beforehand, "I'm gonna get home after the show and write it all down and post it for all the fans to enjoy". I saw the show, enjoyed it, was wiped out after the long ride back to boston, went home and went right to sleep and then to went to work the next day...

even best intentions turn around one day...

I can't recall anything Brandon has contributed worthwhile or reasonable anywhere on this site. Most times, you strike me as an intelligent individual. Well, then your reading comprehension must be pretty miserable. (And sorry, but you don't get to roll your little emoticon eyes at people and accuse them of trolling and then complain that they're the ones not being adult enough for you.)

A quick scan through any of the political threads in the Chit Chat forum from this past autumn will show you that I'm no Brown Eyes groupie. But the guy has been writing largely intelligent and thoughtful posts for quite a while now, including the thread he recently started in this forum about the different songs on disc 3 of Enchanted. If you missed or ignored that, or didn't think that the interesting discussion he and his thread started were reasonable or worthwhile, then I'd seriously start to question your worth around here.

Most times, you strike me as an intelligent individual. I just can't understand why it seems like constant criticism from you.

You can pick and choose what to pay attention to all you want. Do I criticize Stevie and Fleetwood Mac a lot? Yes, because they do a really sub-par job on a lot of things these days. But I also write plenty of posts that express positive opinions of their music. If you choose to ignore those, even subconsciously, then that's your problem, not mine.
