So I've been watching some of Stevie's videos on youtube.com (& thanks to whoever posted this website, I am really enjoying watching them) & I'm seeing a few videos with Stevie doing ballet. Did she actually take ballet classes or something because it really looks like she knows a little ballet or at least used to do a little ballet?

Lee :)

Wait - did you see more than the tusk doc angel ballet portion? Did you? what?
I think she did ballet when she was young.

I remember her saying in some ancient interview ,in a typical burst of grandiosity, that she really wanted to be a prima ballerina but 'I started too late'.I think it is also that she had very little talent for it

It's hard to be stunning, graceful, inhumanly flexible, and have a good memory. I think I made the right choice, though.

I'm not so sure. I definitely don't think she would have had the discipline. But she seems graceful and flexible from many pics/video I've seen, and she was naturally fairly slender (not bulky muscles). So, I think she would have had some talent for it, though not enough to be a prima ballerina. :) Her arms/hands in particular are very graceful. (IMO)

Did you make the stevie lightning one? I really like it. It's kind of cheesy, kind of cool, and very pretty. I would tootally have that as a poster.

Edit - I just set it as my wallpaper. On full screen it's a bit pixelated, but it looks pretty cool.

I love it. I kind of think of Stevie's energy like that anyway. :)
I like the text, can you leave it?

Yep, I'll leave the text for ya, sending it now.

It wasn't hard to make, I like fiddling about with images, I made the one next to it in much the same way.

I love editing this stuff, I use PhotoImpression4 mostly, at least until I can get something like PhotoShop.

The lyrics on both pictures are from "I Can't Steer My Heart Clear of You" by Elton John, cool song, check it out if you're interested.

Never thought of it like that. I suppose so. Thanks!

Another I did up on the "track a ghost" theme. No editing on this, though, this was just a screenshot from Live in Boston. I thought it was cool though.

Why do you think this is grandiosity? When Stevie wants something she GETS it. NOT everybody is mediocre, and some people succeed if they're determined to. SHEESH!

I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just saying please think about it a bit. There's reasons why people like Donald Trump and Stevie are successful at what they do that go beyond luck or what they happen to have chosen to do for a living.

I may be wrong, but I thought Stevie started ballet before joining Fleetwood Mac. She said she liked to record Lindsey playing guitar and doing ballet to it. I KNOW I read that somewhere...

I KNOW I read that somewhere...Rolling Stone, Random Notes, reported she had just started classical ballet lessons in '78. That picture of her with her leg up over her head is from the 1978 Mac summer tour.

Maybe she started earlier with ballet lessons from another instructor/school.

OMG..that track a ghost photo is amazing! I LOVE it. GREAT job.

Stevie did ballet before she joined FM...she said someplace she had hours of Lindsey playing accoustic guitar that she loved doing ballet to. She also said she wanted to be a ballerina but was too short.

I didn't doctor that at all, that's just a direct screenshot from Live in Boston. That's the way it happened. She just has this aura!

Yeah, she has always been into ballet. On the Tusk documentary there is whole segment of her doing ballet (working on the ballet bars) then she talks about how ballet is her way of relaxing (think yoga) when not doing music and that she loves it.

 The bat wings seemed perverse enough to make it interesting. And the smirky picture seemed to go with it. What do you think?

Obviously I'll whip out the lightning one again at a moment's notice.
