Australian Picture Thread

[DavidMn]

Ok, I figured I could maybe make myself somewhat useful and start the thread where all our friends down under can post their show pictures!!! I'm thinkin that should be fairly soon since they are about 15 hours ahead of us and the first show should be over by now. Like I said, Can't wait to see them!

[ShangriLaTroubl]

Great idea, I feel the need to bump this one up..

Chris

[SpyNote]

Actually, I think when it's 4am EST, the time will be 8pm in Melbourne. So you'll have your first reports early Saturday morning if you're on the East Coast.

[ShangriLaTroubl]

Actually 5 am EST is when the show will be starting, bc she takes the stage about 9pm..Vanessa Carlton will be on at 8 I'm sure.

Chris

[Aussie24]

Remember that Melbourne runs on daylight savings time this time of year so it WILL be 5am est for you guys!!!!!!

[steviefan59]

[Johnny Stew]

Hi Trish... welcome to the Ledge! :wavey: I'm glad to hear you had such a fantastic time at the Melbourne show.

You might want to try uploading your photos to Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us/). Once uploaded, you'll be able to post the pics here.

[Trishtrash]

Wot do i do after ive uploaded???do i put in website address for here??

[skcin]

I'm not familiar with Image Shack, sorry. Johnny, where are you?

I saw your name as our newest member earlier & wanted to welcome you. I like your screen name.

[amber]

take the choice of url from imageshack that has the square brackets around it ([) and paste it directly onto your post.

[Johnny Stew]

Trish,

Once you've uploaded your first photo from your hard-drive to Image Shack, you'll be taken to a page of links. There, you'll be given several choices... a URL to post a thumbnail link to websites, and a couple ways to post the pic as thumbnails to a forum. A little further down the page, you'll see additional URLs... these give you the ability to "hotlink" to your photo.
At the bottom of those choices, you should also see a "Direct link to image" URL.

Really, any one of these (aside from the "thumbnail for websites") will work.

So then all you need to do, is copy one of those URLs and post it back here!

One quesiton, how on earth do you people find out where they're staying?! Because I really want to try it some day...:] You just look through old tour itineraries & see where they stayed the last time. Then it's a good possibility that they'll stay there again.

[DavidMn]

You just look through old tour itineraries & see where they stayed the last time. Then it's a good possibility that they'll stay there again.Just like Fleetwood Mac on the Dance tour and SYW. They stayed at the same hotel here in Minneapolis.
