So yes, we've had a picture thread, and I believe we may even have had a "what you do for a living" thread, but I have a bad memory. So can we start again? Let's do little bios about ourselves with a recent photo if you have one.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y111/JannieC/jeffandjanetjohnprine.jpg
This is my husband and I from this past week-end. (I have a really funny picture of us "pouting" like movie stars, but I'll save that for another day.) Actually, now that I think of it, I have a bunch of pictures here, but you have to be my "friend" to see most of them. Add me, if you're interested.
I am 37 years old, live in North Carolina with my husband, eleven year old step-son, and my mother. My mom is in semi-poor health, so she lives with us. I grew up in New York, and moved to NC about 10 years ago. I have my degree in Psychology/Mental Health (graduated May 2004) and hope to be accepted to graduate school this fall. My goal is to receive my Masters in Clinical Social Work. Ultimately, I want to work with incest/child abuse survivors.
My husband and I are looking to adopt a baby this year, probably from another country. We're looking at all avenues now.
As far as FM goes, my parents were big into them, so they were a part of my life from day one. I discovered Stevie during The Wild Heart era, but wasn't old enough to go to a concert until Rock a Little. I went to TONS of her shows from Rock a Little on, but it wasn't until her most recent tour that I touched her hand during Edge. A 20 year dream fullfilled...finally.
So please, post your own bios- I am really interested to hear about YOU. :wavey:

You two make a gorgeous couple! If you have a Psychology background, you should have known better than to post that picture and ruin self esteem all over!! ;) I'm joking, it was so nice of you to share! Maybe I will sometime, too. I'm sorry to hear about your Mother's illness, and bless you for caring for her. I know you stay busy enough with an 11 year old. Take care! :wavey: :wavey:

I'm Lisa--37 years old. I'm married with a 13 year old son.

My husband is 13 years older than myself. He has 3 sons who are all married with their own families. So this makes me a very young Grandma...lol..
My husband and I several years ago, I had to throw in a picture of me sporting my Mac shirt.

My husband and his brother own a construction company. They do highway construction, rural water lines, and just about any kind of dirt work. Right now they're off on a new venture. They have been in Mississippi cleaning up debris for the last 4 1/2 months. About 5 years ago we decided to start another business which I run. I bid highway jobs and furnish materials to contractors.
I love being outdoors. I like gardening, fishing and looking for arrowheads. I'm ready for Spring to get here, I'm starting to feel like a caged animal.

I'm Anita. My husband who will be 50 this month (he's 15 years older than me), he & I will also celebrate our 13th Wedding Anniversary next month. We have no kids () He is a kind man that puts up with ALOT of my crap. lol. He's most respectful of my quest to globe-trot (well atleast "state-trot") to see Stevie & The Mac.
In addition to my love for Sn/Mac, I am a huge Siouxsie & The Banshees fan. I've seen them almost as many times as Stevie. Also a huge fan of Dan Hicks, whom I've seen so many times that he greets me by name at each show. "JOOOOOOOOOOOOY!":blob1: He's no household name to most I am sure, but for me, it's quite an honor. I revel in meeting celebs, which is an added bonus due to our Limousine Business. Besides that prosperous job, we manage a storage facility.
In my youth I was cast "originator" of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and can be seen in one of the books showcasing multiple casts. I'm a proud Virgo, and that's about it! :wavey:
My pics show Hubby & I at our New Years Eve Party. Solo pic of me is trying to disguise how truly toasty I am. =0p

Thank you for the compliment, Kellie. As far as my mother goes, she has emphysema and COPD. She is not totally helpless, but she is unable to work, and her social security isn't enough to enable her to live completely on her own. So, she lives with us. I guess this way, when she does become seriously ill, she'll already be with us and it won't be such a huge transition for all of us.

Hey- that's really cool. I have always loved the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I always felt like I should have married someone named Brad- I just never found the right one. ;)

I wish. Well, for starters on the way there a tire blew and the air quit in the van we were in. Then we get to the "ranch" (after 2 hrs of riding) and find out we'd all be paired up with horses depending on our size and they did this in front of everyone so there were some fairly embarassed people. Then we get to the ride and it's all up and down and rocks and sand - not good for some first timers. Then, we get back to camp and two of the redneck guides (very sexist and racist) start arguing, we don't get the Native American campfire stories we were all expecting and the dinner was horrible. After dinner one of the guides stormed off and left only one vehicle to transport everyone back to Vegas so we were all smushed in and I swear I kept thinking I was going to be raped (and not in a pleasant way) and dumped beneath some briars outside Vegas - end up an episode of CSI. It was way expensive and totally a scam.

The pic is from sometime last year but I really don't look any different now (except I'm dressed in scrubs because I just got home from work).
I am 24 years old (soon to be 25) and live in Vacaville, California (up north, sort of near Sacramento) with my parents and menagerie of pets. I've lived here all of my life. I am currently not enrolled in any college courses, though I plan to take some more classes next semester. I haven't decided which direction I want to take. My strongest subject of study is English and I love to write but I don't know that I could really make a living at it.
I am, however, still trying to finish my long-in-the-making novel, tentatively titled "Erratic Circles," but have been stricken with a nasty case of writer's block, for which I'm hoping a couple of fellow Ledgies (you know who you are) will provide a cure.
As for my current occupation, I work 40+ hours a week as a receptionist/veterinary assistant at a local small animal practice. Although I find this field of work interesting, particularly because of the variety of species the hospital treats (cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, rodents, rabbits, ferrets), I don't think it's something I want to pursue as a career.
In regards to my (now waning) interest in Fleetwood Mac, it is rooted in my nearly life-long love of the music of Tom Petty. Back when I was about 10 or so (circa 1991), I saw the video for "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and loved it, but of course had no money of my own to buy Bella Donna. It wasn't until a few years later that I finally got the album and shortly after that The Dance was released. As many of you may already know, I have nearly lost all interest in the music of Stevie Nicks and am currently only really a fan of Lindsey Buckingham and Billy Burnette. However, I will always have to credit Fleetwood Mac for introducing me to the music of associates like Walter Egan, Warren Zevon, and John Stewart.

It was done. But I refused to agree to the terms of the contract for the publisher that I initially submitted my manuscript to, so I've located another publisher that seems promising. However, before I can submit the book to them, I have to increase my word count by at least 10,000.
So now I'm stuck on what to add to get to that point.

I work 60 hours a week as a Dominos manager. I kind of just fell into the job and it pays the bills.
I have loved Fleetwood Mac since 1997. Does that make me a "dancer"?
No husband for me. Sometimes I doubt I will find the right man...so now it's just my cats and my music that keeps me happy.

My name is Amber. I am native to California rivers. My diet consists mostly of squirrels, bugs, and other small game. Every year I return upstream to Stevie Nicks concerts to mate and lay my eggs. My natural enemies are the Great North American Dumbass, Mariah Carey, and security guards during Edge. I was nearly hunted to extinction for my great wit, which was much in demand among movie stars, writers, and Jyqm. Due to efforts by conservationists starting in the 1970's, my numbers on the scale have been steadily growing. In 2003 my ass was finally taken off the endangered commodity list. :)

Hi my name is Jimmy. I am 16 and I live in Melrose, Massachusetts. I have lived here for 8 years. Before Melrose I lived in Malden which is a neighboring city. I have a 12 year old sister (PMS) who is complete bitch to everyone within a 15 foot radius. I go to a CATHOLIC High School (big mistake). This school has only caused depression and anger...I hate it. I am in my Junior Year of high school and I get pretty good grades for a catholic school (not to boast). I have a job at our local Hospital as an ISA. I have three different type of jobs there. When I am in the basement, I bring files up to the sorting area for Patients who are in the hospital. When I am in the sorting area position I take care of putting up x rays and ultrasounds (cool stuff!) and doing more stuff with files. And when I am at the Front Desk (SUPER COOL!) I just tell where patients where to go and what to do. It really is an amazing job and I am so lucky to have it....it is amazing and pays very well. When I am not in School or working I hang out with my friends. One of my friends just got a new truck so we go all over....Its so cool, its like a new sense of freedom.
- My mom got me into Fleetwood Mac...She was born into a family with 8 kids and they all love the Mac. She has seen every tour since 1977 including all Solo shows by band members (including Christine and Lindsey). On the Mask tour she got one of Micks Drum Sticks and My Aunt got the other. She had backstage Passes for OSOTM but Stevie never came to see her...the security only wheeled the girl in a wheelchair in.
My first concert was in 97 and I was only 7 or 8 at the time...The Dance Tour (yes Christine was awesome).
I saw Enchanted, TISL, 5 SYW (including the LIB tapings), and Two Voices with Henley.
I like English, I want to be a teacher and major in English....
thats my life. :)

Hi my name is Pattie. I live in Providence, RI and have been here all of my life. I am an only child and I do act very spoiled at times. I have been a Fleetwood Mac fan since around 1977 when I was 12 years old. I guess that you could say I have been obsessed with them since the Rumours days. I work for a financial institution where I actually now have 2 jobs. I have been with the same company for almost 11 years. I work in back office as a loan dept. CSR and it is a boring job. I don’t have to deal with people in front of me anymore, which I had to when I worked at a branch. I love that part of my job the best. There aren’t that many back office jobs so I am lucky and I have been working there for about 5 years. I recently just got a part-time job with my company working in the computer room.:blob1: I make some good overtime and I could work anywhere from 4 to 15 hours extra a week depending on my schedule. Even if I only work 4 hours extra a week I would still make more then I would anywhere else working about 15 hours a week. Thankfully I knew something about computers (and I had taken some computer classes at a local college) and I got this job.
I like photography even though I have not done too much lately. I love to take photos at Fleetwood Mac concerts and I have quite a nice collection from the SYW tour. I like trading for Fleetwood Mac shows, demos, etc. I have a trade page. I have gotten into DVD trading now for a few years and I love it. I am eagerly awaiting a Lindsey Buckingham solo tour. I know “don’t hold your breath”.

My name is Sarah. I'm 17 (18 on April 3rd). I live in Alberta, Canada. I don't speak to either of my parents and right now I'm living with an extremely loving, unofficial foster family. I too go to a Catholic High School. I'm surviving it. I want to write a movie about the hilarity of going to a Catholic High School when you're not Catholic (ex. today was Ash Wednesday. I had a spare and missed the service with the ash crosses on everyone's head. So everyone's walking around with these black smudges LOOKING like an idiot, but I FEEL like one because I don't have one and everyone's like "Why didn't you get the ashes???"). I'm a pretty big drama nerd at my school; this year I'm taking Special Projects so that I can be in the class again. I work at a Quiznos and I'm getting really bored there. I want to get into Radio and I'm working on my application for a program for next year.
I got into FM while looking for songs with my name in them. I discovered Sara. I think I initially listened to it and kind of forgot about it. I came back to it and was blown away and got into the other songs and here I am posting my bio on an FM board.
I have huge CD, vinyl, and DVD collections. I have been playing guitar since gr 5 and I own a black Fender Venus and a blue Tak. I sleep with a stuffed elephant. I like bacon.
That's all she wrote.

I'm Chris, I'm 17 years old and I live in Florida. FYI: I hate living in Florida because it is so hot! It was 90 degrees today! So, I plan to move to a cooler climate some time soon.
I'm a senior in high school and only have a couple months before graduation! I'm starting college this fall at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. My intended major is "Hospitality Management". I hope to either be an "events planner"/party planner or to own my own restaurant one day, so that is why I decided on that major.
My favorite person in the entire world is my grandmother! We have a really close relationship. She got me into cooking (my favorite hobby), and she also got me my first Stevie Nicks album! We hang out a lot! She is actually my Step-Grandmother (she is only 45), so I consider her the mother I never had! Which of course pisses off my real mother!
I adore Stevie Nicks! I first saw her in concert on the first leg of the SYW tour. I saw her three more times that tour- I couldn't get enough! Then I saw her a couple of times in Vegas (where I got to hold hands with her and tell her I loved her. Her response: "I know! I know!" lol) So, I've seen her in concert eight times, so I feel pretty lucky.
I'm also a huge movie buff. I have more DVDs than I could ever watch! So, I collect movies! My favorite movie of the moment is Flightplan.
Here is a picture of my best friend and I. As well as a picture of my dog, Maggie! On second thought, Maggie is my best friend!
This is such a cool thread!!:blob2:
Anyway, I am sorry I 'm not posting a picture - I am not so familiar with scanning and maybe I will ask my fiance to do that later when I get home. But I 'll say a couple of things about myself:
I am 29 years old (soon to turn 30, on June 12th that is) and I am from Athens, Greece. I went to a French/Greek Catholic school. Later, in my early 20's I lived for a year in Oslo, Norway and in northern Germany.
I studied law, which I hated, but managed to find some interest in it later. I have a master's degree in International Private Law (even though I would have prefered Human Rights :( ) and for the last couple of years I 've been working in a Law Firm run by my ex-professor at the University. Fortunately I have managed not to be become a normal lawyer  . My main work consists in helping my boss with his academic stuff, so I have lots of free time .
I am living together with my boyfriend of 7 years, who is a mechanical engineer and is the same age as me.
I became a Stevie fan when Rooms On Fire came out (that is when I was 13) and I also had a general interest in FM. I became a huge fan only later, after the Dance came out. Other music interests include: Leonard Cohen (probably own everything he's ever recorded), Nick Cave&the Bad Seeds, Roxy Music, Placebo, Patti Smith, Lou Reed and even though I 'm not so much into Jazz, I like Billy Holiday and Nina Simone. I also love Baroque music, especially all the Vivaldi violin concertos.
My dream would be to live in a nice house with a garden with lots of kids (not likely since I 'm already 30 with no kids still:) )and if I could, I would move back to Norway right away..
Things I love
Reading and every book by Iris Murdoch.
"All that Jazz" by Bob Fosse and "The Deerhunter".
Sylvia Plath
Ballet (quit a couple of months ago because I got too tired :( ),
Playing games with friends at home
Drinking tea from Starbucks
Watching sports (tennis, football and figure skating mostly)
Watching movies with my boyfriend or the Friends Dvds all over again :)
Things I hate
Noise
Being away from my boyfriend:o
That's all from me, I am sorry for the long post! Totally love this thread!:blob1:

I am THE biggest Yankee fan you will ever meet, bottom line. And of course, I have cute boyfriend named Brad who is a year younger than me. (Don't say it! )
I'm in between jobs right now, but I was a dietary aid in a nursing home previously. And that means what? It means I made sure the patients didn't recieve meals that would kill them. :p Right now, I'm searching for a new job, because I absolutely hated working where I was.
I got into FM about 5 years ago, when I picked up my mom's Dance CD randomly one night. I never stopped listening to it. I've been to 2 shows, both on the SYW tour. And of course, I'm the only Stevie obsessed kid in my school. :distress: Besides FM, I'm also obsessed with Talking Heads, U2, Pink Floyd, Blondie, and such. :D
I'm headed to college in September (East Conn!), where I want to become a history teacher.

Ok something about me. My name is David Marx, I'm 34, and I live in Minneapolis Minnesota. My hobbies are Music, Primary among those being Fleetwood Mac, The Stereophonics, and The Sundays, and Major league Baseball.I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan since hearing Gold Dust Woman on the radio in the summer of 1977 at the age of 6 and I'm a card carrying member of Red Sox Nation. Yes a Red Sox fan in Minnesota. I love to travel also, having been to every state except Alaska, as well as Europe twice, Australia, and Hong Kong. Between Stevie and Fleetwood Mac, I've seen them 60 times live, as well as 3 times seeing Peter Green. My favorite people are my grandmother Victoria, who came from Germany in 1956, my mother Lisa, and my great aunt Eloise. I wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for them.:)
As far as work goes, I've worked different jobs, mostly cashiering, but hey it pays the bills. I am also proudly gay, and my boyfriend Derek and I have been together for a year and a half!
If I had to pick a motto for myself it would be "Dont wait for life to come toyou! Go get it!" Also, be kind to others. You may not know when you need that kindness to be repaid.:)

My bio:
I'm Ryan, heading towards 37 and have no idea how that happened. I already posted a pic on another thread.
I'm a Bay Area native and have lived in San Francisco since '89. I love it here and would be just fine never leaving the city limits, although I have traveled extensively.
I have worked in the HIV/AIDS arena since I got out of college as a public policy advocate.
I'm gay, widowed going on 5 years, and like the great Jessi Colter, have decided to keep moving forward, so I've reorganized my life and been able to find an identity beyond widower.
I love all animals, much more than people. I have two cats, a crazy calico girl and a sweet, fat boy.
Hobbies include reading, going to the movies at least once a week, theater, trying to stay in shape, happy hour, and my beloved San Francisco Giants. I'm a cofounder of a group of gay guys in their 30's who meet to discuss books, art, politics, etc.
Have loved Stevie Nicks since '75, although I did lose interest between OSOTM and '97. Missing the Street Angel tour is one of my biggest regrets. Driving to Phoenix to see her play at a Don Henley benefit in March, 1997, reignited my love and I haven't looked back.
I did have a co-worker and good friend who shared my Stevie love, and we traveled to Phoenix for AHI fiasco and LA for the House of Blues shows. The last time I saw her was at the San Jose SYW concert in '03; she committed suicide a few months later. I miss her.
