Hurray! :xoxo: That's almost as good as staying in bed all day.
The colors are nice...
So, when I was in 3nd - 5th or 6th grade (1982 - 85) - remember everyone always drew hearts with wings? (well, girls). And there were always stickers like that (My sticker book was awesome, by the way - I had tons of oilies).
That's just a coincidence, right? It's independent from Stevie, right? I'm sure people have been drawing them forever, right?
Maybe someone a few years older than me would remember better?

I think it is independent of Stevie and is one of those archetypal symbols. Harley Davidson uses it too.

I hope you feel better soon. Tomorrow go and buy yourself something. Or do whatever to pamper yourself and make yourself feel good. I was in a store tonight and heard Madonna's "Live to Tell". I love that song and a line in it made me think of you because of something you posted earlier, "A man can tell a thousand lies, I've learned my lesson well..." That is such a good song. Sounds like you might be fresh off of a big heartbreak (ya think?) and you are in the wallowing stage (Gilmore Girls ref). Stay in bed, don't brush your teeth, refuse all calls. Again, I hope you feel better soon.

That's such a rotten stage...but yet can be fun.
"Now get out of bed, and brush your god damned teeth because your breath stinks"...(Practical Magic ref.) :)
I LOVE "Live to Tell"...and that is so sweet that you thought of me...
Actually tomorrow I'm going to Wilmington (beaches of NC) to meet my best friend (she is a voice major at UNCW)...so I'm going to be hanging out with her all day. :] And of course listen to Fleetwood Mac probably all day...I just got her "into" them last year. She has SYW, Tusk, White Album, Rumours, Very Best Of, Belladonna, TISL, In The Meantime, The Dance, LIVE, and Christine McVie so far...not bad, eh?
Anyways...enough of me going on! I'm totally fine and will be better tomorrow

So, they said it would be 80-100 dollars for the peel, and 45 for the office visit. I only saved that much.
But - I didn't have to pay for the consultation, only 80 dollars. I immediately (and I mean the store was next block) went to shoe store to "look around" - I should have paid attention to the warning signal, which was me saying "omigod, I'm rich!!!" after I found out I only had to pay 80 dollars.
Cool! I love having more money than I think I'm going to have! So... how long is the recovery after a peel? Is your skin red for a few days afterwards? Can you go to work the next day?

sorry, I just saw this.
For my first peel, I got the least strong one which is fruit acids. It's a fairly new method - unlike the previous chemical method, there isn't as much photosensitivity after. I can't tell if my skin is pink. Yes I could have gone to work.
In two weeks I'm getting microdermabrasion and the stronger chemical peel. With that one I can expect some peeling and some redness for a few days. You could totally work, though. Some people have more sensitive skin than I do, which is why it's a good idea to get the less strong one first.
There are other procedures - Dermabrasion - where you can't go into work, and your skin is recovering for weeks and weeks. Because they literally sandblast (basically) layers and layers of your skin off, so when it heals it's all really new, fresh skin. I want that one, but it's thousands of dollars apparently. These peels are nice, though - I don't know why you would want one, your skin is beautiful. Although everyone could use a good exfoliation every so often. Bring the fresh skin out and all.

My aunt had this procedure done. Her skin felt like a baby's ass after it healed...very smooth. Have you had this done?
I have to exfoliate actually...derm. recommended...sigh...the joys of being a red-head.
What's a Clinique bonus?
A Clinique bonus is much like a Lancome or Estee Lauder bonus, where if you by x amount of $ on Clinique products, you get a little gift bag, usually a make-up bag that's filled with lots of little goodies like sample sized mascara, lipstick and usually some lotions, creams or make-up removers. Maybe an eye shadow or a blush. Bonus time usually happens twice a year and it totally kicks!
Did that just sound like an endorsement? Cuz it totally was.;)

Your aunt had dermabrasion? The one where it takes weeks to heal, right?
yeah, most people should exfoliate. Also these peels clean your pores - that's nice, too.
I don't think it has anything to do with you being a redhead... Most redheads I've seen have light skin, and their skin isn't very oily or anything. Redheads usually have really nice skin. Though pale and freckly. Which is fine.

Ooohhh - my friend totally makes sure she gets that with Lancome. And I always use her Lancome cover up face makeup stuff when I'm there - it's really nice. I went to buy some myself, though, and it was 45 dollars. I'd probably still buy it - I just didn't have $45 to spend right then. :p

I don't think it REALLY has anything to do with me being a redhead...its just we are known for having sensitive skin. I have light skin, yes...and I'm told that I have a nice complexion... I'm not too freckly actually...but yes..kind of pale...

Ohh...well this is my skin NOW!
Back in highschool...I had acne. not REALLY bad. but enough to be on accutane, which I'm guessing you know what that is! STRONG stuff...strong enough to kill an unborn if taken by a pregnant woman.
I was on that for 5 months...and after that...AMAZING SKIN! And the derm. told me to just make sure I take good care of my skin and exfoliate.

Wow, Accutane used to be for more severe cases.
Actually, your derm is smart - listen to this.
I took accutane for 2.5 cycles of it. (you know, did the whole five month treatment almost three times). My skin would break out again, not that bad, but still - that's why they gave it to me again. The third time, I had switched Dermatologists, and my new one had a clue - my skin was breaking out because it was clogged with dry skin from when I took the accutane! So he had me do a few peels, and voila! Skin cleared up.
But - and this is the part that pisses me off - when my skin was breaking out from that, it made my pores way bigger. So, if my first derm hadn't been lame, and if I'd gotten the exfoliation right away, my skin would look way, way better today.
Glad your derm is smarter. ;) Accutane was new when i took it.

I think mine was considered moderate...and usually they only do use it for severe cases...but mine was consistent, and I had tried the other stuff...so I was put on it. I got up to 60 mg. a day...and after the 4th month my skin was totally clear. I just take care of my skin now...washing it and also using a bit of 2.5 benzoyl peroxide (great stuff)...
