Going from memory she seemed alright. She definitely wasn't all smiles but she seemed ok. She spoke about the Dylan/Petty incident when the government threatened to kick her out of the country and NEVER let her back into the country. (I expected thunder and lightning when she said that, she seemed a tad melodramatic)

She can't remember meeting John Farnham so she intends to ask him whether he remembers.

They mentioned the iPods for the soldiers thing. She said music would help them and that it helped her through her two rehab stints.

She said something that cracked me up about when she first got into cocaine. She was saying about how people were telling her how it was fun and non addictive etc. Then she said "STUPID!" Whether it was relating to the thought that it wasnt addictive or that she was stupid for falling for it, it was kinda funny.

That was about it. I'm paraphrasing here so it's kinda vague. I was about to rewatch the tape but my video screwed up

Thanks for paraphrasing. :)
Maybe it's just me over-analyzing, and this has been discussed in length on another thread, but Stevie sure seems to be in a "different" sort of mood lately. Someone mentioned it could be grief she is still going through and I think I agree with that. Grief can do all sorts of things to a person, even if they don't know it themselves. Whatever it is, I hope she is doing well emotionally and that these upcoming Aussie shows present her in a positive, rockin' light!

Just a hypothesis, but besides the grief and issues with mortality...I figure she is probably dealing with menopause. I know my Mom is now and she has totally changed after that and retirement. No disrespect meant by that statement, but hormones do crazy things as we all know...well ladies anyway!

No disrepect taken..coming from someone who is going through that phase of life herself.! lol sighh,..You know hormones do a number not only on our bodies but also our minds and our moods and thoughts...Perhaps Stevie is reflecting on many things past and present and is feeling the frustration of not being able to not only stop the clock but also feeling like she has come full circle in her career.? Just some thoughts from a moody crazed menopause woman herself..lol
