I feel like a Stevie poll, & there's no explanation for it. Having never learned to use the autopoll feature in this place, I will have to make this a manual poll.
_________________________________________________________________
What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
A. Serve her constituents as a politician
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse
C. Work on a SWAT team
If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach.
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right
If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Stevie's typical "Rhiannon" performance from 1975:
A. Awe-inspiring power
B. Overhyped caterwauling
Warner/Reprise comes to you two weeks before releasing "Trouble in Shangri-La" & asks you to decide whether "That Made Me Stronger" stays on the album or is dropped to make room for Stevie's new recording of "All the Beautiful Worlds." You consider the thematic importance of "That Made Me Stronger" & its integral role in giving Stevie the confidence she needed to complete the entire project. In the end, you decide to:
A. Dump "That Made Me Stronger" & its sociological importance in favor of "Beautiful Worlds"
B. Stick with the sociology & keep the song
"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
A. Bloated, inane "Rock a Little" excess
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery
Do you ever incorporate Internet signature files into your posts or e-mails and try to pass them off as something you came up with yourself?
You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty

Woow! This is gonna take a while.
What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
A. Serve her constituents as a politician
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse
C. Work on a SWAT team
B.
If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach.
I can't. I can't in that I'm not going, not that I can't in that it's too much. Nope, I'm staying at home. :(
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
Ooh, that's a difficult one. I'd ...... look after her wardrobe! Yes! That or take over from Waddy, despite not being able to play guitar, purely for the thrill of playing the opening to Edge.
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?
*weeping hysterically* PLEASE CHRIS!!! DON'T!!!! Don't DOOOO THISS!!!!
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
The what now?
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right
Ah, no. Just right.
If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
The three days' worth of The Dance.
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Hell yeah.
Stevie's typical "Rhiannon" performance from 1975:
A. Awe-inspiring power
B. Overhyped caterwauling
Erm .... Not sure on this one. Can I pass? I'll upset people!!
Warner/Reprise comes to you two weeks before releasing "Trouble in Shangri-La" & asks you to decide whether "That Made Me Stronger" stays on the album or is dropped to make room for Stevie's new recording of "All the Beautiful Worlds." A. Dump "That Made Me Stronger" & its sociological importance in favor of "Beautiful Worlds"
B. Stick with the sociology & keep the song
Blegh. I'd have to hang on to it, wouldn't I?
"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
A. Bloated, inane "Rock a Little" excess
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery
I don't understand this question.
Do you ever incorporate Internet signature files into your posts or e-mails and try to pass them off as something you came up with yourself?
I don't think so. Doesn't mean I don't nick stuff! :)
You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty
Ooh. That's a hard one. Definitely not C anyway. That's really tough..... I think with the Mac. More chance of ending up with Lindsey that way!

Australia is too freaking far away. Bastards.
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
Back-up singer. :)
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?
Hah, I never made fun of Stevie over on Usenet, so I'm good.
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
Never saw it in 1980, since I wasn't born yet, but it sure sounds upsetting.
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy

If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
Either The Dance or Mirage.
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Definitely.

A. Dump "That Made Me Stronger" & its sociological importance in favor of "Beautiful Worlds"

For all our ears' sake, I would have dumped it, but that would have broken Stevie's poor heart, wouldn't it now?

What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
A. Serve her constituents as a politician
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse
C. Work on a SWAT team :
Stun-gun - she couldn't STAND this. Believe it or not I could picture the SWAT team thingy. Politician? Too easy for her.... Stevie needs challenges in her life.
If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach. :
Digestion. Pretty easy to do when you're eating an egg sandwich while watching videos on YouTube, wishing you had gone to Australia...
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do? :
Invest in a cowbell. Then EXPLORE the STAGE with it! . . .
Stevie's world needs more cowbell.
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister? :
Make fun of the Internet, have a laugh with him over how "stupid" it is, try to direct the conversation towards Stevie's comments about it, ask him if he's got a light and then tell him what a GREAT job he's been doing with the merchandising...
Then ask him if he's working on anything else, listen to him talk about it, and suspect that he's probably holding out on you...
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started? :
NOPE! Didn't even KNOW about it!
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right :
Sure did. Didn't notice the lipstick, I was too busy being blown away by Stand Back and stunned by the beauty of Nightbird...
If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be? :
Edge of Seventeen, HBO Special/Stevie Nicks Live..... :wavey:
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks? :
???
Stevie's typical "Rhiannon" performance from 1975:
A. Awe-inspiring power
B. Overhyped caterwauling :
When demons start running and cowering in the corner, it's PROBABLY time to start calling it "Awe-inspiring power..."
B. Stick with the sociology & keep the song :
C. Get some rocket fuel, mix it with kerosene, light a match and burn everything even remotely associated with That Made Me Stronger to smithereens. Shoot the remains into outer space. Take Stevie out in the parking lot and tell her and "take one for the fans."
"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
A. Bloated, inane "Rock a Little" excess
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery :
C. Pissy and irritable and wanting to ditch this place and go play hookie on a boat for a little while...
Do you ever incorporate Internet signature files into your posts or e-mails and try to pass them off as something you came up with yourself? :
Wouldn't even know how....
You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty :
w./ Fleetwood Mac, simply because their shows are much longer...

I'm not seeing her, unfortunately, but the first time I did I felt very nervous.
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
I would be her assistant... sorry Karen... Karen could do the least fun stuff.
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?
Well, I wouldn't have posted such filth.. but I would gauge his reaction, and if he was going to tell her, I'd do it first.. depends what I'd posted..
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
No, and I would have been, yes.
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right
No, I was 10 years old and we didn't have a TV. do u have pics of this performance so I can judge the colour?

Not sure... Stevie solo... maybe during bella donna or the wild heart era
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?

Great question! I don't think Stevie would ever approve of any of demo stuff going around. If she asked everyone to delete MP3s, etc., I guess a few people would comply, but I wouldn't.

Not in Australia, but this summer I had butterflies in the tummy.

I don't think I've made very much fun of Stevie, but if something minor got out, I'd be honest with him and tell him it was a rude thing to do at the time and I don't know what I was thinking. (Only if what was shown was true, however - sometimes things get taken out of context.)

If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
Many many, but especially:
Any date with Peter Green
Saint Louis 1979
All The Dance recording footage, including rehearsals
All the rehearsals before Say You Will tour (I want Storms  )
Earls Court 2003 (It's been the first concert I've listened to)
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Yes.
Stevie's typical "Rhiannon" performance from 1975:
A. Awe-inspiring power
B. Overhyped caterwauling
Both
Warner/Reprise comes to you two weeks before releasing "Trouble in Shangri-La" & asks you to decide whether "That Made Me Stronger" stays on the album or is dropped to make room for Stevie's new recording of "All the Beautiful Worlds." You consider the thematic importance of "That Made Me Stronger" & its integral role in giving Stevie the confidence she needed to complete the entire project.
No
You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty
Both again
Add your own question:
Will Stevie ever be the leading actress in a movie by Paul Thomas Anderson?

What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
A. Serve her constituents as a politician
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse
C. Work on a SWAT team
B, of course. A would involve being famous, and C would involve lots of men.
If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach.
You know how you feel like you're gonna have a panic attack but then you don't? That.
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
Interpretive dance.
You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?
Oh, please. What's he gonna do? Take my birthday away?
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
Nope. But I can't say how deeply I would resent that seal thing.
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right
Much, much too heavy.
If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
What's the one where's crouched on the stage in the blue shawl with the white crinkly platform boots, banging a tambo on the stage during "Chain"? That one.
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Yes, yes I do.
Stevie's typical "Rhiannon" performance from 1975:
A. Awe-inspiring power
B. Overhyped caterwauling
A on a good night, B on a bad one.

"That Made me Stronger" would be outta there so fast its bland little MOR soul would shrivel.
"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
A. Bloated, inane "Rock a Little" excess
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery
Bloated, inane RAL excess I happen to love. RAL by its nature is lovable, bloated excess.
Do you ever incorporate Internet signature files into your posts or e-mails and try to pass them off as something you came up with yourself?
Not a once. But maybe I will now just to see if I can get away with it.
You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty
D. Seeing Stevie perform with Sheryl Crow, Linda Ronstatd, and what the hell, since I'm in La-La Land anyway, Rosanne Cash.
Add your own question:
I won't, I tell you.

With you on that. Although then maybe TOSOTM wouldn't have been the great album that it was? I guess you can't mess with these things.
Though it would have been interesting to see that movie. And the Lindsey thing. But then I never would have ended up with him, would I? :p
As for Seven Wonders ... I don't know either. I haven't been, actually.

Bored.
I used to get bored visiting several Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks sites a day (While all the other sites are good sites IMO, most had the same info, So I decided to avoid the redundancy), Thus why I deleted all my accounts elsewhere and decided to pick one and since this was the first I joined I decided to stay here.

What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse (least likely to ride in a limo or a black SUV)
If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach.
Hopefully I'll see her this fall, northern hemisphere.
If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?
Backup tambourine

I have no idea what Usenet is, so highly unlikely that would happen.
Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?
Vaguely remember seeing it, but I'm sure we turned off the seal hunting piece. Can't watch anything about animal or child abuse.
Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
Sure did, and
B. Just right
If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?
Probably her best SA performance, since I so regret missing that tour.
Do you like the sulfuric smell of fireworks?
Not since I got out of rehab.

I don't know "Beautiful Worlds", but it's got to be better than TMMS.
"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery
I wouldn't really say it was very inspired, but I like it for the time.

Have no need to.

I am definitely not one of the "cool" people.
