No offense, I'm sure many baby boom fans think like that, but IMO, most of them want to see her only as she was (something that leads to a constant disappointment probably). I think she is a great artist who has the talent to go on very interesting paths, but she cares too much about what her longtime public wants.

Absolutely no offense taken .I agree completely .In Stevie's case I think having been so popular as a young woman and along with Farah, an era defining sex symbol , has actually caused her to limit herself more creatively now .That and not seeming to be able to get past that she has to be Top 40 radio staple to be considered a success.
