Mick has called John "the most honest person I know." And of course Chris has said he was endearing and had a wonderful sense of humor. Isn't it cool to be able to see those qualities firsthand? Astounding. :thumbsup:

I also find it sort of funny that after like 30-40 yrs of knowing these people, he is so scared to comment on their maybe-less-than-perfect personality traits. He's afraid to stir anything up LOL.

he also knows it's the only way to keep the whole touchy environment in business: walk on eggs! I mean business for him is bassiness; I bet he still loves to play and get out on the road, not in first place for the money, but for the core of it: rocknroll.

I was surprised, I admit. In sipite of he is very quiet on videos and have a look like "I don't like to talk in front of cameras.." , he answered very good all questions I have read at the penguin. I really like this guy. Far better and cooler than Stevie's answers at the nicksfix, imo.

Maybe because he wasn't in front of cameras and didn't actually have to 'talk'. :) This was a great sort of forum for him, where I'd think someone like Mick, for example, would probably do much better speaking than 'writing' answers. Plus as John said, it must be hard to get your two cents in when you're competing w/ someone who can talk forever like Mick...and even Lindsey and Stevie tend to ramble a bit IMO. Maybe I'm just biased, but any time John was interviewed together w/ Chris he seemed really relaxed and more able to have fun w/ it. But trying to get a word in over the other three, I suppose, was a little more stressful. :p

I'm getting the feeling that weekends might be his designated time for answering stuff lately...even if he just does a few every weekend for awhile, that'll be fine. He could go on this way for however long he wants...or he could quit tomorrow. :rolleyes: whatever, I'm not gonna press it. Will let ya'll know if/when he decides he's done.
