What is it Curtis that you love about that tour? Is it the weight and the bloat or do you just feel sorry for her? JK
Thanks for posting that :xoxo:

this brings to mind a question I've had...what is the best EO17 wail?
I'm partial to the one in Vegas 5.14, but the one from the Whiskey show is amazing too. What's your favorite?

She looks like a lounge act when she takes the mic off the stand.
Just kidding, I wish she always did that.
That's hot, curtie. Those people that she did the yell inches from are soooo lucky. She has a nice smile in this one, too.

Lots of ad-libbing- very cool. I wish I could see it clearer. It was so freaking odd to see her with the mic off the stand. SO weird.

Was the mic off the stand just a one time thing or did she do it throughout the tour?
The date on the screen said July 29, 1994. Where was this concert?

You have to watch at least half way through. She takes the mic off and steps to the front and squats down to sing..as she likes to do. Maybe there wasn't enough room to do this with the mic on the stand. The picture is very dark on my screen too.

Unfortnately, I can also remember the 6-5 Columbus, and 6-6 Indianapolis shows from the Enchanted tour. She had to tone both of those shows down because unfortunately the wearther was so HORRIBLE!! Both nights it was like between 45 and 55 degrees. Unbelieveable for June.

The Eo17 from the SA tour, Mansfield MA, was killer. It was either the first or second show of the tour, if I remember correctly. She took the mic of the stand during the middle bit as well. She didn't go to the edge of the stage though, I recall. She went to the drum riser and sat down for the scream. Also, she had a great ending to the song, "I still hear you, I STILL hear you, and I know what it sounds liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike" Awesome. It was really exciting because I expected her to be zombie-like, just like the Timespace shows 3 years before, but she was alive and kicking.

But was she literally kicking? I've seen video clips where she high kicks out to the right and left. On Red Rocks she nearly knocks the mic stand over.

That was unbelieveable and a tad bit freaky! I had no idea she was so rockin' during the SA tour. I've heard boots but seeing the video you can totally tell. She sounds truly amazing! Did she rock out like that during Enchanted?
Is this the only time we know of (SA tour) that she took the mic off the stand? I wonder why she did it in the first place and why she hasn't continued to do it? I would die to see her do that live.

me too. I was 13 during that time and had no clue who Stevie was...damnit. I blame those Back to the 70's commercials...I was such a snoot that I always dismissed those cheesy commercials and never paid any attention to some of the best music ever. Damn Solid Gold Oldies, DAMN YOU TO HELL...
