David Letterman 1986 (http://www.youtube.com/w/Stevie-Nicks---David-Letterman-Spoofs?v=0wmQX9ZqWgQ&search=stevie%20nicks) - He skewers Stevie's management for sending him a letter saying to stop mentioning her. I had always heard about this, and figured I would never see it since all his old NBC stuff seems to be buried.
Rooms on Fire shoot (http://www.youtube.com/w/Stevie-Nicks---Rooms-on-Fire-Video-Shoot?v=-9mst_03dQA&search=stevie%20nicks%20rooms) - Behind the scenes footage. Notice the cute guys "playing" instruments. I suspect they are there for their good looks more than their musical abilities. Because it's not like they were on the 1989 tour with her. And why in the world does that electronic clappy dealie say "cream cheese" on it?
1991 Timespace bit (http://www.youtube.com/w/MTV-Day-in-Rock%3A-Stevie-Nicks-%26-Jon-Bon-Jovi?v=3QlPg0lIiKE&search=stevie%20nicks) - Jon Bon Jovi speaks warmly of Stevie.
1987 Entertainment Tonight (http://www.youtube.com/w/Entertainment-Tonight%3A-Fleetwood-Mac-in-Phoenix-1987?v=n9xNseVYdjk&search=stevie%20nicks) - About the tour beginning.

I enjoyed this one. The drummer, Scott Crago, did end up playing on The TimeSpace Tour and is pretty good. I have a drum stick he tossed at me after playing Rhiannon. Nice chunks of wood missing from the stick too.
And Cream Cheese Productions is the video production company.

Very interesting. Doing a little searching, it seems that he also co-wrote "Listen to the Rain" Now if you can tell me who that cute guitar player is, I will be giddy.

That's a cool Rhiannon. I quite like the guitar player (where's waddy?) and the different bassline leading to the ending is very cool. I like that it's different.

I was watching one of the interviews last night on youtube (I think it was Leno) but he asked her about performing at the inauguration and what she thought about Clinton winning the presidency and she said she didn't think he should win because he was too young (even though Bill and Stevie are around the same age). I found it very interesting that she said that.

I thought the comment was quite ridiculous myself. Instead of stating that she disagreed with his political positions as the reason she didn't vote for him (as I'm sure she voted) she mentioned his age. Possibly because she did not know any of his politcal positions? ;)

Bingo. And even without substances to distract her, I doubt that she knows much these days. Her comment on the Dixie Chicks and how they should have kept quiet doesn't demonstrate much of a brain when it comes to political issues, nor does her comment that those who protest are "martyrs" and that she isn't one of them.

I think it's a possibility. She was such a wreck at the time of Clinton's election, popping them pills as if there was no tomorrow and being a self-admitted bitch to everyone around her. I, personally, can't imagine Stevie boning up on his foreign policy positions at that time.

I have no idea where that came from - I never implied she didn't know he was a democrat, I said she may not have known his politcal positions. And just because you know someone's political party it doesn't mean you know where they stand on particular issues. Many democrats have different positions on the same issue which I'm sure you are well aware of.

HOLY COOL AND SLIGTLY DIFERENT VERSION OF RHIANNON BATMAN!!

Watching the youtube vids from the Mirror and Timespace tour, it sometimes seems like she still has that very 80's Stevie "look" and "sound"- like just looking at her face, although maybe a little bigger, it looks pretty much lick the same face of White Wing Dove or Mirage, which was really gone by the Dance (although still gorgeous)- does anyone know what I mean?
Even listening to hear vocals of that "Rhiannon" remind me of the Mirage vid. version. And, yes, she was bigger than she had been, but still not really huge...
WHY, WHY, did she wear those rediculous outfits?! They were what made her look like such a spectacle. Watch the Stand Back from 1991 from the Arsenio Show- she looks great! Straight hair and no ridiculous outfit, just the Stand Back cape. I think this era could have been better for Stevie, but those clothes

WOW! I wonder how easy Letterman found it to deal with Front Line Management the most-RECENT time around???
( Oh wait - - - she has new Management now... ;) )
Actually - I don't know whether or not it's true, but I heard recently that she FIRED them for this! ( Maybe there were other issues as well. )
Anyway - if you notice, he's pretty much respectful towards Stevie for the entire thing. It also seems to me to be similar to the "Strategy" he used recently to try to get Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey on "The Big Show."
I think maybe he essentially makes a big ol' pain in the ass of himself until they finally decide to come on the show and get it OVER with!
I have the IMPRESSION that maybe Stevie had a good time on the show, though, during the most-recent appearance.
Anyone have any PHOTOS or anything???

One thing I found really funny is that if you've seen the first time she actually did appear on Letterman, he made reference to when those clips were on, saying how he'd wanted her in the past and she said something like, I didn't even know about that... that was weasel management.
I had forgotten that he had called them that and how funny that she made reference to his exact words.

[.
At the end of the "Live at Red Rocks" video, it says, "A Cream Cheese Production." (Or something very similar to that.) This was apparently either Stevie's company (which I thought was "Modern Records?") or, more likely, a company somehow associated with her. So maybe they owned the thing or something.

I think she just has a very ideal concept of politics, and votes for what she thinks it's right. I'm sure all the bright political analists who knows always exactly where the absolute truth is and what's the best and most noble, politically involving thing to do in every moment of their day, can find it childish. I think she represents the most typical and grounded voter out there, in every Country, in every time.
