Someone on the Stevie forum suggested we start a Lindsey one of these... so hear goes :]

You Know Your A Lindsey Fan When...

* You are personally offended when people have no idea who LB is... even more so when they think he is a woman!

* You hate it when jounalists mis-spell his name "Lindsay"... (how long does it take to do a google search to check??!)

* You hate it when CD stores don't have any LB or FM cds :mad:

OK-you laugh to yourself everytime you shut down your boss' old computer, which actually uses the term, "shut down," because you sing "no, I won't shut us down" to yourself like a minor lunatic.

You smile and roll your eyes when you hear the word, "cycles."

Ditto for the word "come," (although sometimes, this is accompanied by a mysterious hot flash, too).

You can no longer listen to I'm So Afraid without picturing Lindsey's shoe over your head.

Wow, another Albertan! Brilliant.

It was kind of funny I was in Tramps on Crowchild Tr. and they were closing down, so they had 50% off everything. I went in and for curiosity I checked, and to my surprise, there it was, Out of the Cradle. I took it up to the counter and bought it and had a conversation about Lindsey, and when I walked out I realized that I had already bought it a few months before and I listen to it often lol.

At $6.00 I couldn't resist.

Well you are totally right. From the first time I saw that segment I could totally relate to him. Also because he had worked on Stevie's songs with his own batch of material in mind. Someone who is many times labelled as a visionaire by his bandmates, when it comes to albumconcepts/atmosphere/feel etc. should have had more credit and trust from the others. To call that whining is just superficial.

I can imagine! He must be a heavy sleeper! :nod: Ofcourse if I were in that position I would have braided all his hair and used make up to paint his face like Gene Simmons from Kiss. :thumbsup:

Who ever gueses the right amount of chest hairs wins a jar of jelly beans. Because they would associate the chest hair game with jelly bean game that would make them want jelly beans. So then jelly beans would be the perfect prize for the winner of the chest hair game! :woohoo:

... Well... In _my_ opinion, anyone who's going to even _enter_ a Buckingham's Chest Hair Guessing Competition (First Annual, folks!) is not going to give a sh... ugar about jelly beans, unless "jelly beans" is some sort of extraordinarily inventive euphemism...

As for face painting... um... No. Can't say I've ever felt _that_ particular urge...

ok so we were on this bed...i assume at the beach as
all that could be seen was white sand, blue skies and the four posts
of our bed which were drapped in white...lindsey was dressed :mad:
in white jeans, with a white shirt..and i was naked...we were as brown
as coffee beans...he was spooning me, and his fingers kept on tracing
my right hip...over and over and over again...i must have fallen asleep...
as next i awaken and i am standing outside a darkened alley...a light
shines down on me and the wet pavement...i look down the alley, and
there is a dark shadow of a man with a streetlight shining down on him...
i become afraid as it appears we are the last people on earth...he looks
towards me...then down again...and he whispers "i recognize that hip"...
i walk towards him, and thats when he holds me and takes me off to flight...
over the city, and over the freeway to safety :thumbsup:
