Does anyone have this on video that they could send me or link somewhere?
I think this is one of the best performances of that song - especially the twirling with that hot ass coat she has on - I get chills when I see her do that.
thanks!

This was the first show I saw where I thought, "She's back!" She'd lost weight and looked so happy. It was incredible.

That was the show that had me worried about her health. The performance was fantastic, but homegirl did not look healthy in the flesh.

Really? I wasn't close enough to see that. Maybe she had a cold or something.

Remember how COLD it was that day/afternoon, even for Boston Mid-Autumn? The band came out early and stood there for a few minutes before they played to warm up their hands and get used to the temperature.
I thought Twisted was awesome at that show! So was Gold Dust Woman (YOU said something 'bout it!).

she has on a really silky coat that is cut so that the portions on the bottom spread out...she grabs the edges and does quick turns and flings the coat around her - it is probably my favorite twirl ever...it looks like the edges are on fire...a.ma.zing

tell me about it!!! it's one of the most touching photos of them. I watched the Seven Wonders video a few days ago and felt strangely sad; I really started to imagine what it must be like to work with and be around someone you loved so much and obviously still love...those looks of love she gives him and the smiles she shows during that video break my heart. so I paired the photo and an awesome line from "If I Were You" as an homage to that love (it'll be up til I'm over it)
anyway, that's enough sap to make people gag...

doesn't it just make you wonder what they are both thinking at that exact moment - for a split second do they flash back to 197? and the last time they touched like that.

 *drool......*
Love the sig photo too, it's a really touching photo. My guess it was taken after a performance of Say Goodbye [which still reduces me to tears], given the shawl she's wearing....
And Seven Wonders is a fabulous videos. Those glances are ... well. Anyone's guess.

Thank you for posting that! But ummm. I honestly think that this was one of the worst arrangements of Stand Back ever. But has Stevie EVER LOOKED HOTTER? The woman was what 47? Beautiful.
But the performance? The band arrangement was awful. And her vocals were uninspired. Los Angeles 7/26/05- Proof that the woman only improves with age. Especially where Stand Back is concerned.

Well, I agree with your take of the band. Althought, they were into it that day, they all were awake and the crowd was good, they just were not very tight and the arrangements weren't very good.
I disagree with the uninspired vocal part - let me take you back to The Timespace Tour. Blood was barely pumping to her head when I saw her on that tour.

Same with Street Angel. Too bad I can't watch this over dial-up. Oh yeah, I'm going into the office today, yay! The energy was something I had never really seen since I saw Stevie for the first time during Tango.
This BC show was when she had just quit smoking, I think she may have still been wearing the patch. I was so happy that she was getting healthy!

What's on her head? That can't possibly be all her hair.
I wasn't that blown away. She didn't move around that much but the twirl was quite special. She only smiled twice, once after the twirling and at the end.
What was this for? She wasn't on tour in 96.

Its prolly for a MIX Fest, or whatever they call it. Its like a concert that Mix 98.5 has in Boston every year.
But its weird because they haven't played a FM/Stevie Nicks song since, like, forever. The last time I can recall was back when SYW came out when the morning talking show host started talking about "Peacekeeper" and had no clue what he was talking about. I was just waiting for him to say "Man that Stevie Nicks sure has a deep voice these days." But I haven't listened to MIX in like a year, so I dunno.

A friend bought me the concert tee to this show, which had many bands playing that day/night.

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I have this on VHS and will try to get it onto DVD when I can. I have a friend who makes these transfers as a side job.
The concert was a Mix Fest concert, yes. It was free! I was so psyched. We didn't get up front because we just went for Stevie but we still had a pretty damned good spot. That was something!

A whole lotta weave, man.
Keanu Reeves called. He wants his Matrix cape back.
This was fun, though. It will always amaze me - the eruption elicited when this woman spins.

That whole thing was so cute, right up there with her SNL 83 Stand Back. I also loved how she was moving her hair back like Cher ala 70s :)!

The outer coat she is wearing, I believe, is the Joanna Robe from trashy.com... with some added embellishments on the cuffs and the lower back... very nice. I bought one in red, like the one she wears in the Rooms on Fire video. It's FABULOUS!!

You were right man, that was awsome! (not my all-time fovorite stand back though, but it was good.), but the spinning!, ohh, the spinning I can't explain how I experience total and compleete euphoria whenever
STEVIE -NICKS -spins! It honestly should be like a medical condition! I am just glad that I am not alone!

That's what I was thinking!
And I am so needing one of those Matrix Twirling Coats now...
Thank you so much, priestofnothing, for posting that. That made my day. She was quite the diva in that moment- the twirls, then her hands on her head after she pushed her hair back....wow!

remember Anastacia saying she used to work at the salon where Stevie either got her nails or hair done (I can't remember which)
I laugh when I think of all the inside info I've gotten about white women weave from my insiders...Celine sending Faith her old extensions, etc. It's hilarious.
Can I have a Chinese waterfall with a krinkle curl on the front?
if you have ghetto fabulous friends like I do, you know what I'm talking about...and yes, the Chinese waterfall is still very much alive in Mississippi
