well maybe not...I just wanted to share pictures I had found from when I was skinny and had bushy eyebrows (yes, Paula, I did have unplucked brows at one time:))

I do have the live performance from the VH1 Vouge fasion awards...

I also really love the video for "Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica)"...great stuff. She actually looked awesome during the Glitter era, despite all of the crap she was going through.

I think all of those things were a good idea. You are protected by your home and alarm and 911. You will be okay. I've been a super-heroes fan my entire life, and when I was wee little my mother used to tell me that if I had nightmares, I should imagine Superman & Wonder Woman coming to save me, and everything would be ok.

Of course, it's too bad they can't save us from some of the nightmares we encounter in adulthood!

thank you. oddly enough, my brother, my 2 grandmothers and myself are the only ones in my family with blue eyes. it's very strange, but I don't understand that whole recessive gene thing anyway.

WOW! Your mom sounds very wise. ;) I loved Wonder Woman and the Bionic Woman, they were my idols as a child. In my imagination I thought, "Why can't a woman leap houses?" That was the best.

You're right about the adulthood part. The serenity prayer helps now, over and over and over. Though I haven't had that kind of anxiety for quite some time, thank you lord! :)

This is me with my Dad (who turned me on to Stevie when he brought home the FM white album when I was 6). The background isn't very pretty, but this is out by the beach in SF as we celebrated my aunt's wedding.
