Did anyone see the new years thing he does? I didnt, but I've heard alot about how he was speaking very slowly and didnt look good. They also mentioned how shocking it was because he never ages. NEWS FLASH people: he's like almost 80, so he's entitled to be a bit slower.

Stroke or not, I can't stand the man and never could. He's an ass. I would just die to see his plastic surgery bills from over the years, though.

I thought it was kind of weird that they trotted him out so he could slur a few words on tv. I found it to be in bad taste. He should take time to get better.

Actually I found it quite sad. :distress: I used to watch American Bandstand & always watched his Rockin New Year's Eve show. I really didn't know what to expect after hearing different reports of his health, but when he first started talking, I couldn't understand what he was saying & it upset me. Apparently, it was his idea to come back to the show & I think he was very brave. I think it gives people who have had a stroke incentive to fight & to know they aren't alone.

No kidding, I got a little watery eyed when I saw him. I thought he had a stroke or something...and to see him still kickin it there was sad, but understandable. I had no idea he was sick, or even now, what's his condition.

My father-in-law is friends with Dick Clark, and while I've never met the man myself, I understand he's a wonderful person. I didn't see the NYE show, but I'm sure it was sad. :(
