Okaaaay then.... !!
Their hair is similar... blondish with a side part... but the resembelance stops there...

Well i suppose if you flip your computer screen upside down and squint whilst blinking really quickly they might look remotely similar...!!

Nah.... i can kind-of see what your talking about, they couldn't play twins in a movie or anything... but possibly sisters (Or 5th cousins twice removed!)

oh man... I don't mean to come out of left field, but there is a similarity in their eyes, and somewhat the way their faces present themselves. The two photos aren't real good comparisons, but there is a similarity.....or something that reminds of Stevie when I see Diane Keaton!!!

What's that? I have to go back to my room now???
Do I still get my milk and cookies???

I see it, but Diane's lips aren't quite pouty enough. She needs some collagen or something and then it'd be about right.

chiliD said last year that Stevie and Stockard Channing are starting to look a lot alike. I didn't see it at first, but lately I've been watching Stockard's new show, and I'm starting to see what he means.

I don't see the resemblance at all between the two of them, but I have always seen a big similarity between Stevie and Carrie Fisher.

I was just gonna write that!! I totally agree. There's a photo of Stevie where she kinda has her hair like Princess Leia's, and it's remarkable.

speaking of Stevie being a celebrity's doppleganger...has anyone seen the pic of Stevie in a tight t-shirt with jeans and dark hair where she looks EXACTLY like Karen Carpenter...it's uncanny...I'll have to find the picture (I know it's in The Chain boxset booklet)

I see no resemblance. However, Diane Keaton is the epitome of cool. Always will be. Anyone who is in doubt can bite me.

In those photos their eyes do like alike. They are the same shape, spacing, and their eyebrows also have the same shape. Other than that, they don't look alike to me.

My thoughts exactly. I think the eyes especially are similar, but other than that not really.

I looove Diane Keaton. Her and Stevie do resemble each other a little bit. They both look young for their age.

I won't shoot you... I've thought that before too. But I was told I was crazy . Not saying they're twins or anything, but with some hair extentions Martha could play the Lifetime movie version of modern-day Stevie.

Diane is just so spectacular. This thread makes me want to bust out a DVD to watch before I go to bed tonight. I'm torn between "Love and Death" and "Manhattan Murder Mystery."

Thanks for the responses. It appears Stevie resembles alot of people (or vice versa).

On another note, there are photos where Stevie doesn't even resemble Stevie. I realize these shots are from awhile back, but they don't begin to look anything like her...

Supposed to be other photos. They didn't upload.

Manhattan Murder Mystery. Hands down.

That's the one I settled on.

I love the movie, it has so many great lines, and all the cast is just perfect:

Larry: "Do you remember I took you to see Last year at Marienbad on our first date?"
Carol: "Yeah, I had to explain it to you for six months."
Larry: "Who knew they were flashbacks?"

Carol: "So I opened this urn, just to see, and there were ashes in it."
Larry: "Ashes? Funeral ashes? Did you wash your hands?"

Ha! I love that. The one line that sends me into a fit, though, is when the clerk at the hotel asks Allen if he's a detective and Allen says "Yes, I'm a detective, they lowered the height requirement." The Peter Lorre line is a keeper, too.

Keaton & Allen are one of the best duos. Maybe the best when it comes to my own personal taste.

MANHATTAN MURDERY MYSTERY!!!
I LOVE MANHATTAN MURDER MYSTERY!!! :blob2: :blob2: :blob1: :]

Could somebody post a sound file from Broadway Danny Rose when the mobster shoots the helium tank in the warehouse & Woody & Mia start talking like chipmunks? That cracks me up every time.

But for a movie of Stevie I'd still pick Carrie Fisher to play a modern day Stevie.

This is all crazy talk!!!

I can see the resemblance between Carrie and Stevie, esp the Princess Leiaesque pics of Stevie. But Martha Stewart? Diane Keaton? Suzanne Somers (or whoever that was??) No... no... no... Martha has a big face, totally different shape to Stevie's. And thinner hair. Diane Keaton looks nothing like her!! Totally different face shape. Suzanne Somers is blonde. End of similarity. I don't think anyone could play Stevie adequately in a movie. It would never work.
