I am looking for a nice version of Landslide live where Stevie sings the lyrics "and if you climb a mountain, well I hope you make it" I think she did this around 90-91 era.

Thanks!
Christine

ChristineThe August 25, 1990, "Next Stop Maine Road" is a very clear one, Christine. Also, the November 1991 "Livespace" one is an extremely clear one.

I saw her on the Rock a Little tour and thought she was gorgeous. Must have been a rough night.

Thank you! Is this online anywhere?I'm not sure, but I went ahead & uploaded 8.25.90 (Next Stop Maine Road) for ya:

http://s33.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1V128D4AUQB9B1Y72LEH2VFLRV

because your site is so remarkable & so expertly designed--the perfect melding of form & content--& has been a beacon of light & hope during more than one dark night of my soul, Christine. You are a remarkable lady.

I think the one you REALLY want is the Livespace "Landslide," because that one is (if memory serves) exactly: "climb a mountain/well I hope you make it"

Also, the November 1991 "Livespace" one is an extremely clear one....but here is the November 1991 performance that does have it:

I could be wrong (I don't have the shows handy for reference), but I think she also did it at the 8/14/91 Concord and 8/15/91 Mtn. View shows.

I don't know about Concord, but you're definitely right on Mtn. View. I love that version.

RomyAbsolutely. She started doing it that way late in 1990 on the tour with Fleetwood, & pretty much carried it through consistently on her solo 1991 tour. You might be hard-pressed to find a Timespace show where she doesn't do it.

Christine, if you have the proshot video of the Oakland 12.06.90 FM show, she does it there, too.

I don't think I've ever heard a tape of the Concord 1991 show, although I attended it. I know the proshot video is from Shoreline in Mountain View.

Take my love, take it
Climb a mountain, well I hope you make it

It's cool!

Is this when you first fell in love with her???that was the last year I was really in love with Stevie. I thought she was great, but not to everyone's taste, it seems. But it's time to take Rock a Little Stevie out of my sig & replace her with 1978 Stevie or 1982 Stevie. Or maybe Lindsey ... or one of the others in Fleetwood Mac, if only I could remember their names. :o :o

Thank you for the very nice words about the website....it was a labor of love for me.

An interesting note on the Oakland show. I was there early before the show and just walked into the arena during the sound check. Lindsey had just come out on stage to rehearse Landslide for that night. The first of 3 special appearances. They had not seen each other in a long time and I remember Kim Brakely (sp) taking photos of them somewhat surrepticiously documenting the moment.

Thanks for posting the sound files I need to hear that line tonight. Long story.

She also sang that line at the Albany show that tour. That line touched me when I first heard it at that show and I remember it so vividly to this day. This thread was a nice reminder.

I'm not sure if there is an mp3 of that show around anywhere. Well, there probably is, but I'm not sure where at the moment!

That show is floating around everywhere. Its a very good one IMO and theres a video for it.

She sang that line at virtually every 90 and 91 show.

Sorry, I don't like it. I was pulling for Stevie to "make it" through that version. She sounds almost as bad as she looks in the pic in Davey's sig pic. I'm glad Stevie is healthy and sounding better these days...the Gold Dust Tour rocked!
