I know this psuedonym was mentioned in Mick's book where Stevie had used it during the Tusk - Bella Donna period. I've wondered and searched for some time just out of curiosity, where she found it. After changing the 'K' to a 'C', and using what would be the French spelling of DeLongpre, I found a non-fictional saint (imagine that), of the same name.

Catherine of St. Augustine, or Catherine de Longpre....

Just thought I'd share in case anyone might be interested.

Hee...I have ficticiously used the name Katherine DeLongpre in the past as an homage to Miss Nicks. I also love Lily Chanel.

Pssst: Miss De Longpre also has a habit of writing fun stories and
submitting them online. They're few and far between - but as a very wise
person once said:
"Look around. She's around."

Are you talking about this? http://persephonepointe.20m.com/Episode%2011.html

I'll admit, there are some interesting parallels there.

There's a street in Hollywood, near Sunset and Hollywood boulevards, named Delongpre (but the first name was not Catherine, though I can't remember the real one).

When I saw that street sign 2 months ago (i spent vacations in Cal.!) I immediately remembered Mick's book

It wouldn't surprise me. There's a Gold Dust Lane in Stevie's part of town in Phoenix.

So there's a Silver Springs town near Maryland, the name inspired Stevie to write the song.
