I got this info from a PAC www.votehillary.org who is supporting a Hillary 08 run for President.
The messaged contained this info :
"Recently, the Hillary Clinton for President Committee registered with the Federal Election Commission, and we want to show everyone that this is a serious campaign for the future of our country. "

She's pandering too much to the right these days. She's wrong on the war, sponsored an anti flag-burning bill, etc.
I'm ready to vote for a woman with consistent principles. Run Boxer Run!

I like Hil, but I think it's way too soon for her to run. She needs to stay in the Senate a bit longer, get more experience.

It would be great if this confirms her running for president...I really hope she wins too. "President Hillary Clinton" -- just sounds great :)

It does, but I have to agree with Rickypt: her stance on the war left a bad taste in my mouth so I'm kind of wary of her. Other than that, I've always liked her.

She's been consistent with my views on the war. Believes it was poorly planned, and carried out, but if you just withdraw alltogether immediately you put these people, the citizens in a great danger, with no stability.

Four more years of Republicans: Guaranteed. Hooray! :blob2: :blob1: :blob2:
Stick a fork in the Democratic Party, it's finally done.

She's wrong on just about everything. Any respect I had for her began to dissipate in early 2003. By now, I've got none left for her. Personally, I'm crossing my fingers that if she really does run, she falls flat on her face and loses miserably. It needs to happen.

Lovely website. I was particularly struck by the Joe Biden link on the right-hand side. If Biden and Clinton are the best the Democrats have to offer, they deserve to lose.

I'm sad to say that I don't think we'll have a woman president any time soon (or a minority male, for that matter.)
Is anybody surprised that she'll be running? I kind of thought this was a given.

This country gets in an uproar over a Catholic (Kennedy) and that wasn't too long ago, so, yes, I'm afraid you're right .

If Hillary Clinton is the only female candidate to pick from, then she shouldn't be elected president. I supported Braun all the way up until her campaign went belly-up, but she really never stood a snowball's chance in hell. And quite frankly, I'll use Geena Davis as a write-in candidate before I vote for Hillary.

Did you support the war in the first place, as she did?

I think Biden has a much better chance of winning the overall election, but can't get through the primary against Clinton.
I just hope there is a strong, credible candidate from the left during the primary (Barbara Boxer, are you reading this?)

I think it could easily happen, but would be a Republican.
Dianne Feinstein would have a good chance (not that I like her), but she's probably getting too old.

That's reassuring. One disgusting whore over another. Fech. I won't vote for either of them and hope they both lose. If it's between the two of them and a bunch of Republicans pigs, it wouldn't matter who won the election because they're all the same. The Democrats need to be brought to their knees.

I'd splooge over a Boxer campaign, but it'll never happen. :(

Yes I'm not "anti-war" by premise..I believe there ARE reasons to go to war sometimes. Had we been given the correct information and intelligence before the war by the administration, we would have all known there was no reason to go...however, the "intelligence" he presented gave good reason for war...unfortunately that wasn't really "intelligence" at all he was presenting. Senator Clinton and others, had that to go by..and unlike he seems to think, he was not authorized to use force under any circumstance for any reason. He was given the authorization to use force based on the information he was giving.

The woman doesn't know what personal responsibility is. She's as childish as they come.

Mary Landrieu, one of only 3 Dem Senators to vote for drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge??
No thanks.

Olympia Snowe
Debbie Stabenow
Barbara Mikulski
Maria Cantwell
Barbara Boxer
There's 5. Maybe you have some more ideas?

As much as I would love to see a woman president, there is no way in hell I am voting for Hillary. I think she is one of the most dishonest people I've ever seen, among other things.

I know you weren't asking me, but:
Olympia Snowe: As good as a Republican can get, and willing to break from her party on key issues. But I'd rather have a Dem.
Debbie Stabenow: If only! Great on health care.
Barbara Mikulski: Voted against the war, did a nice job pointing out some of the sexism behind the treatment of Harriet Miers.
Maria Cantwell: She's really good on most issues, but voted for the war (I really want to support someone who has been right all along). I like how she took on that a*hole Ted Stevens during the oil executive hearing (she wanted to have them sworn in so that they could get nailed for perjury). I believe Stevie Nicks has given her some $$, so maybe there would be more Stevie appearances at the White House?
Barbara Boxer: The best. She has been a consistent liberal and great vote for years and years and years. She would never win, but neither would any of the other woman listed above.

I really hope Hillary gets stomped on during the primary and puts an end to this mess. The democrats need someone a lot better then her behind the wheel. Barbara Boxer would be a dream, but remember that the redneck quotient in this country is still very high, and they dont like no high falootin' baby bearer stompin on dubya's ideas.
Whatever happened to Barack Obama? He would get my vote solely based on his speech at the DNC. A lovely man!
