If they put songs from her best of album on the radio what do you think they will be...well it's basically going to be the same songs they always be...Right? Maybe Rock and Roll.

My guess:
Stand Back
Edge of Seventeen
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Leather and Lace
Sorcerer
Everyday
Fall From Grace
I Can't Wait
Talk To Me

Maybe Rock and Roll. Now there's a thought: Stevie might put a live track from 2005 (Rock & Roll) on this Best Of album.

I miss the old days of Westwood One concerts. What ever happened to those? Stevie hasn't had a concert of hers broadcast on radio nationally since 1994. (But an abbreviated KFOG set from San Francisco 2001 was broadcast locally, & Jim Ladd played Gold Dust Woman & After the Glitter Fades from her 1998 rehearsal nationally.)

1981
1983
1986
1989
1991
1994
(nationally broadcast concerts)

On the radio? Not sure what you mean. I think what you are asking is what songs will be included on the new Best of CD? Of course no one knows yet but personally I would like the see the original single edit versions. Not all of them were different but some were. To the best of my knowledge, these were the ones that were edited or an alternate version.

Leather and Lace (edit) (they deleted Stevie's last line in the first verse)

Edge of Seventeen (edit) (the intro was shortened and the 2nd verse was removed)

Stand Back (edit) (the single was the same as the video, which had an edited ending)

Nightbird (edit) (an edited ending)

Talk To Me (I'm sure everyone knows about the alternate version that was issued on a rock and roll compilation CD from a few years ago. It would be nice to include this version to keep in the theme of the new best of CD :) )

I Can't Wait (alternate of LP version) (the official single release was not the same as the video version however, the video version is available on a promo 45. So there were actually 2 edits of the LP version, the rock intro [which was the official 45 release] and the soft intro [which was the same as the video])

Rooms On Fire (edit) (there is an edit version of the song that is on a promo CD single. the music after the first chorus into the 2nd verse was shortened but oddly enough, they did not use it as the official single.)

Whole Lotta Trouble (edited remix) (this has already been issued on "Time Space" and "Enchanted." But it would make sense to use it again if they were going to use the other single edits.)

Love's A Hard Game To Play (remix) (this was available on the official cassette single as well as the promo CD single. The promo CD also included an edited version of the remix.)

Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind (remix) (available on the UK single)

Blue Denim (remix) (available on the UK single as well as the US promo CD single)

If You Ever Did Believe (edit) (available on the Promo CD single)

Sorcerer (there are 2 edits from the album version, the "edit" version which is the same as the video and the "Sheryl Crow remix" which has a more rocking intro, and is my personal favorite version.)

Do I read correctly that there is an alternate Talk to Me? Anyone care to share pretty please? I'd love to hear that.

That sorcerer edit for the video was complete Garbage in my opinion. They absolutely shreded the song...terrible.

The Shery Crow edit was much better. The intro started out upbeat and gives the song more of an "umph" that the album version lacked.
