Am I the only person who wants to just beat the sh%$#!t out of people?? I mean...I keep reading this about really horrible things being done or said to people, and the victims are always terrible wet noodles about it. I don't understand. If somebody says something offensive to me, I'll get offensive right back. And I'll most likely say something 10x worse. I mean, somebody popped off at me the other day and I told him someone should've handed his mother a knitting needle...granted, it was in a chat room, but I'd like to think I would've been that quick-witted if it had happened in person. And lord help somebody if they get in my face with some sh$#(@!t. I just don't understand why I seem to be the only person who gets mad as hell. What is wrong with people?? Somebody help me understand this...

That is the WRONG thing to do!
It's totally natural to feel that way, because I am the same way. I don't like to take ANYTHING from anyone. I get so mad sometimes I feel like I could explode.
But it isn't worth it...anger isn't. Retaliation isn't. Sore words back and forth isn't. It's always better to let it die. Whomever was that evil to start with only wants reaction...and nothing is worse than giving evil people what they want.

I try to be a bit cautious. In the big picture, if I'm gonna forget this person soon, I try not to get too mad

I spent most of my late teens and early twenties being angry. I find that NOT getting angry back at someone diffuses most situations. It's so much nicer being calm.

All I can say is think big picture. Let **** slide. If you get that angry, well then, they win.IMO, the big secret to a happy life, is learning to temper our own emotions and reactions.
Others don't make us angry... we allow ourselves to get angry.
Others don't make us jealous... we allow ourselves to get jealous. And so on.
I react poorly to things more often than I'd like, but I am striving to decrease the frequency with which that happens. Other people don't deserve the power to influence my moods and outlook.

you shouldn't feel alone, this world is full of people who react violently once they get pissed off about stuff.
in fact, there are SO many of those, that there aren't enough prisons to have them all locked and separated from civilized society, nor the funds to educate them better.
i say go ahead and act on your instincts.

Not the only one. I get very angry when people act like idiots. One example is when you're walking on the sidewalk, on the right side, and a few people are walking toward you but they don't give way so you can pass. You have to jump out of the way. I always say something when this happens though I don't know if anyone hears me. I'm not all that confrontational in that situation. However, there are others where I can be. I agree that there is too much complacence among bad behavior.

I always try to act, not RE-act. I certainly never let some strangers gain control over my moods and actions!
Agression is just such a waste of energy, emotionally, physically, psychically, and only breeds more agression in response.
Even when "being victimized" I still try to remain calm and let rationality rule me. In the end, it gets me heard and understood far better than lashing out ever does.

I feel like fighting at least once a day. Just yesterday at Copelands I walked in and this dude stared me down. We even made eye contact and he didn't turn away. Luckily, I had to wait to be seated so I went outside. My friends laugh at my "fightin" mood...

Omigod, that reminds me. I was out with my roommate Saturday night and this chick gave her this long, nasty stare. She had bright red lipstick on and her lips were pursed in this weird way. It was the strangest thing! She was loaded. My roommate had done nothing, not even look at her. It was really funny though. One of her friends actually apologized for her it was so bad!

I just try not to leave the house anymore... and not in an agoraphobic way- more in an insular/comfy way. People are so fukcing stupid I just can't deal. I went to the grocery store on Saturday and every aisle I went down had some dumbfukc with their cart caddy-corner blocking the whole thing. And, of course, they are so braindead they don't even stop to notice that someone is trying to walk down the aisle. So, they just sit there. Duh. And finally I have to say something mousy and nice like, "Excuse me." Sometimes they notice and sometimes they don't.
My temperament on Saturday was not so hot. So, instead of the mousy "Excuse me", it was the honest "Get out of the way!! JEEZUS!!!!", following by lots of cussing after I made my way through.

Don't forget "Orgy." I've never laughed so hard in my life as much as I did when Gran put condoms on her hands to wash the dishes and said with utter confusion "They don't put fingers on these gloves."
It's true what they say - hell IS other people.
I'm constantly irritated with humanity on a daily basis, everything bugs the **** out me. Not to the point of feeling violent, blessedly...with the exception of people who can't grasp English when its their first language:

There are soooooo many lines from that sucker.
"It looks like tea-break on the Thunderbirds set- somebody operate her!!"
"Did you get a smaller car?" "Yes, darling, I got the smallest car I could find- it's this big, I can't even put my bag in it."
"Oh, I'll have a chappaquino, too, dear" **stop** "CA. PU. CHI. NO."
"Knick -n- Knack and Brick -n- Brack -n- Things?!?!? Any old junk taken? Why don't you turn yourself in???"
"She's inhaled our kitchen!!!"
"Do you mean make myself unemployed?!?!? Do you have an idea what the goverment does to the unemployed??!?! They make you install loft insulation in urine-stinking homes for the invalid incontinent!"
I got that last one off a little, however, I'm sure you can mental image it.

Here's one that kills me that journalists use ALL THE TIME, is "pled" instead of "plead" or "pleaded". If a baker has already prepared the dough, its been "kneaded" it hasn't been "kned". Jesus Christ!

I am the same way. At times, I can be perfectly content coming home from work Friday evening, and not leaving the house again until I have to return to work on Monday morning. Sometimes I avoid phone calls too when I get in that mode. It's just my way of regrouping.
I also share the same grocery store peeve. The aisle blockers - Grrrr!
As for Ab Fab- Morocco - definitely one of the best (GORgeous tiles!). I also like the fashion show one - "Music and lights and fashion and lights and music..." Eddie: "Are we keeping these two, Pats?"
