I received mine today from my company. We all got a $75.00 gift card to a local supermarket chain. I thought that was pretty good. We got the same thing last year and we really did not know if we were going to get anything this year, so it was a pleasant surprise.:)

How about the rest of you? Do you get anything at all? I know that some places give out huge ones. We were lucky to get this one.

We don't get anything at all. Ha. Our company is a partnership and one co-owner is Atheist and the other is Jewish. So no Christmas bonus for us. :(

I work for the County, we dont get bonuses. we cant accept gifts from clients not even a Christmas card. in fact, its bargaining time and we are now even paying the increase in our health insurance premiums that ordinarily the County pays....my county is a sucky county. I suppose most people would say that but its actually true in my case. there's NO industrial base at ALL. The biggest city only has a University and unless you're in medicine or law or construction you're S.O.L. baby..............

I got $180 - last year I got $300. So it was a bit of a let down - especially since I was expecting at least $300. BUT, I am very grateful for anything since it's not required.

We won't know if we will get ANYTHING until the day before Christmas Eve. Last year I got a $50 gift visa, year before that, a $100 gift visa card, year before that , an $800 Movado watch!!!! I got one of the expensive watches due to the fact I have been there for so long. That year was a great year financially and we were rewarded handsomely. It has been a crap year this year, so we will probably just get a kick in the a$$ and no time off.My brother's bonus from his company was an $1100 Dell Lap top. I keep telling him if he does not want it, well he knows where he can donate it--me!!!:laugh:

That lab top gift is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!

I work 4 days a week perdium at the hospital...i dont think ill get a bonus.

I know, isn't it incredible? he usually gets about $600 worth of merchandise from a local home improvement store. The laptop is cool. He is recently divorced and she left him with very little but the house, so this is a very nice treat for him,just wish he was not so afraid of it. Have to go over there again tomorrow nite to help teach him how to use it some more so he gets comfortable with it. It is hard to imagine in this day and age someone who is 37 and is afraid of a computer:shrug:

We get nothing. We used to get a box of choccies and bottle of wine but that stopped a few years ago

We don't get a Christmas bonus where I work. But in March, I get a profit sharing bonus. Between tax refund and profit sharing, I'm rolling in it in March!!! :lol:

I got about $300 last year and it goes up the more years you've been there. But so far no bonus :( And it's not looking too good right now.

They tax it heavily too! I remember the days of a bonus, forgot all about that! We used to get sweet bonuses at my last company until the senior executives got greedy and effed it all up.

Yeah, one was lying about the forecast, the other was lying to Wall Street, and there was more. I think at the time it was "normal" and what people at the top were doing but we can see where that has led them (Enron).
