Sara and I have been invited to meet Peyton Manning through Brooke's Place. Brooke's Place is a child grief program where children are placed together and can get through their grief with their peers. It's a great program. Peyton Manning has his Pey-Back Program (http://www.peytonmanning.com/peyback/) and does different things around the city, and has decided to host Brooke's Place children at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis on Monday! How cool is that?? We're not allowed to have autographs, and I'm not sure if we can take pictures. If we can, I will post!

I grew up with the Mannings. Archie is from my hometown. We all went to church together. They all act like royalty, like they are the sh*t. Some are nice, but some are just morons. Weird family.

That's cool, Maria. I have heard Peyton is a genuinely nice guy, so hopefully, you'll find that is the case. Let us know how it goes!

Well...Peyton IS the QB for the only undefeated team in the NFL...I'd probably act that way too if I was in THAT situation.

Peyton was the quarterback at the University of Tennessee, which is my alma mater. Peyton is an extremely nice, down to earth guy. Peyton was a freshman when I was a junior, but I would see him on campus---always personable. I'll never forget that we had classes in the same building. He accidently hit me with a door in the hallway, and it knocked me down. He was mortified. He was a real gentlemen. He helped me up. He made sure I was okay, and he walked me to class. We talked for a good while, which made me late for class. He even asked me out, but I didn't go. I must have been crazy, but Peyton isn't known for his great looks. ;) He is known for his amazing football skills, kindness, caring, and down-to-earthness. You'll be happy you meet him, I think.

I seriously doubt that. If I had just looked passed the acne, I might have seen thought dollar signs.
