Yeah but its got the piezo...dont want that...and I like the look of the older models. I want me a mid-90s one with the lighter body like the one he plays on "The Chain" on "The Dance"

You should be eschewing Dance-era Buckingham, & studying only the Buckingham from 1978 to 1980. Narrow your scope & you will find great rewards in specialization & microstudy.

haha....That's an interesting interpretation David! But...sadly, incorrect! haha...I just like the lighter model ones. The dark red stain isnt for me. Eww, that sounded gross. I meant the color of the guitar. Oh forget it.

wha? you guys are starting to scare me. I DO love his stuff from that era. It's so frenzied and punk. But I love the polished perfection of his work on "The Dance" too. I wouldn't pick one over the other though.

I'm with demon the really deep dark red one does jsut not compare to the nicer looking pale one in my opinion. http://www.buckinghamnicks.net/lb/images/LBuckCP01.JPG

Anyway, that is a sweet axe. I also prefer the look of the older models though. Ah, someday...

David,

Will you loan me $3500?If I had $7,000 lying around for equipment, I'd buy you the 2nd Turner & me the Nord Stage.

I realize it's a nice guitar, but does everybody need a guitar just like Lindsey's? From the white les paul to the model 1, the number one goal here seems to be becoming Lindsey clones.

don't be scared sweetheart. I'd just turn in Dance-lindsey for Tusk-lindsey in an instant. Shut Us Down-lindsey and partially SYW-lindsey promise a lot of intersting stuff for the future.......I just don't want to be confronted with slick-lindsey anymore.

oh you smarmy MF...i love it. I've had that white epi les paul longer than you've been alive and way before I knew who Buckingham was. And yes, I want a model one...i finger pick...they have great tone for that. You'd play one too if you could.

Then I'll replace the white les paul portion of my comment with the many pedals of Lindsey.

In my own defense...those pedals almost contribute nothing to Lindsey's overall sound. They don't change the "tone." You being a guitar player should know that. The overdrive simply pushes the tubes harder and the delay is well....delay. It's just an effect. Lindsey's tone and true sound comes from his fingers and his Model 1. Besides, I also use a CH1 pedal, and a Compression pedal (CS3) mostly live.

ReFleetwood; don't you know that guitarists need one of every guitar ever made?
