The Colts are quite good. I'm a Packers fan, and they're horrible this year.

I love the Packers and the Colts. Although the Packers are terrible this year, they'll always be my team. :)

are one of my favorite AFC teams...And wouldnt you know it they are beating another of my favorites the Pittsburgh Steelers (All time faves are the Browns & Bengals...Hey the Bengals are winning this season, No more Bungle jokes!!!)

Wouldnt be surprised if Indy finishes the season 16-0...it can be done.

the Colts have beaten three of their main AFC competitors -- the Patriots, Bengals and Steelers (7-4) -- in a span of four weeks. I think I've read somewhere they haven't beat the Steelers in like - 21 years?? I don't ever remember us beating Pittsburgh.

I agree with you on the Colts and wish nothing but the best for them and Peyton Manning. But as a Bears fan I thrive on your tears and dance on the grave of your sorry, pitiful Packers. Shame on Brett Farvre. SHAME!!!

I'm a football newbie, but since my hubby is a fanatic, it was sink or swim for me. I went to a Panthers game, and had a blast....I'm actually watching them on Sundays now, and even understanding a lot. He will be going to see them play Atlanta on Sunday..I will be....drinking beer...:D

Ya know, my hubby was a big fan. He is who got me into football. This is the first year I've kept up since he died. So, I watched for 5 years, and I haven't watched in 2 years. If the Colts weren't having such a kick ass season, I probably would still be on hiatus. It's still not the same watching it without him. :distress:

Hahaha - I'm the fan in our house, hubby didn't even watch until about 2 or 3 years ago.

My dad had season tix for himself, my brother & me from the time I was 12 until I was about 20. We had some incredible times & I really got into the games. Now we go to at least one game a year.

I wouldn't be remotely intrigued if my boy wasn't so into it...and if i want to see him on Sunday, then, I better learn....

Eli sucks! Eli sucks!
Sorry- but that's what us CHARGER FANS were saying during that entire sunday night football game a few weeks back. Boy, was that a blast! :] I got nothing against the Giants, but Eli dissing us like he did during the draft was bad. He got what was coming to him during that game though!

Good luck to your Giants, just not to Eli! LOL! Shockey's cool and so is Barber.

Oh, I also love the Pats (they are my east-coast-where-I'm-gonna-move-later-when-I-retire-team) :woohoo:

GO CHARGERS!!!!!! :blob2:

Lisa- Your Chiefs need to beat Denver to bring them down in our division (my team is the Chargers). We will most handily beat the stupid Raiders this weekend on ESPN, and then after that we will still be tied with the Chiefs for second place in the AFC west. How do you like that plan? (for now anyway- later down the line it will be a little more cometitive as we fight for 1st in the division!):D

I could handle that. Denver is favored, and it's a home game for the Chiefs.
Then, the week after that we play Dallas, then Giants, then Chargers. Tuff stuff.... I'm scared!!

Sounds like a plan then, Lisa. :D Screw Denver- they are over-rated and lucky.
Dallas should have beat them, but Parcells pussed out and let it go to OT even though he had plenty of time on the clock to score 3.

The only thing I like about the Patriots is their new commercials for VISA or Mastercard whichever it is. But I'm so anti-football-dynasties that I LOVE it when they lose. I hate that after 9/11 everybody acts like if you beat the Patriots the terrorists win. **** THAT! and **** TOM BRADY TOO!

Heeeyyy- that's not very nice!

I love the Pats cause they play as a TEAM. As far as I know, there are not a whole lot of a-holes on their team either, which is unfortunately a real problem in men's sports. As a matter of fact, that's the only thing that bothers me about watching professional sports- the ego thing. Gawd that BUGS!
