It starts this evening.
Oy Vey!!!!!!!!
Oh Well, at least I still have all my hair and am in a loose size 34 pant.
Sparky and Glodie - I will be in eggplant Prada and wish you both were my date :wavey: But, in your stead, I am going with my ex girlfriend. This should be interesting.
Why do I have this feeling we are all going to be at a kareoke club at 3:00 the morning and/or at a nude pool party.

Something tells me you'll be the life of the party. Have a fabulous time. And what else would you wear but Prada?

My mother will be attending her 35th tomorrow night. Monday night, she calls twice to remind me to bring the digital camera home over break so when she's there, she can take pictures so when she's having a down day, she can take a look to remind herself how much better she looks than her classmates  Oh, mom.
Naked pool party, you say? Why do I have a feeling you'll be the first to strip into your birthday suit  Have fun!!!

You will have a great time. I recommend the karaoke. The naked pool party ? Suspect, considering the rapid deterioration of most of my classmates. Though yours may have held up better. Tell us everything !

This is the year for my 20th, too. Actually 2006. I thought reunions were always held in the spring? Anyway, hope you're having a fabulous time and knocking everyone dead. :woohoo:

Have fun J! :xoxo:
It was my 5th year, this year. I didn't go to anything. There were 64 people in my class, and out of those 64, I probably want to see 3 or 4. If I want to see them, I can just pick up the phone.

I hated high school and all the people I went to high school with can vanish from the face of the planet. I would be fine with that. If I never see them again it'll be too soon. :woohoo:
 Let's put hexes on them.
I can't wait to start going to reunions so that I can see which assholes from back then have turned into porkers or who has a career at K Mart. There were some nasty pieces of work from high school that I hope got herpes and minimum wage jobs stocking shelves.
Have fun, Jason, I can't wait to hear all the details.

"At least WE'RE not the ones who got FAT"
"We're PREGNANT you HALF-WIT!"
I'll still be in college next year for my 5th. What's the point of a five year? Plus, there's facebook and myspace to see how horrendous everyone turned out -- why interact if you don't have to?

My 10th year high school reunion is actually this weekend but I'm not going. I didn't really like high school and there's nobody I want to see.

Haha! I love that movie!
Let us know how it goes, Jason. I went to one reunion... only because my best friend (we graduated together) kept nagging me until I said I'd go. After that night we both swore to each other that we'd never go to another one!

A five year reunion? Surely no one is that hard up for a horribly catered plate of roast beef at $25 a pop.
MySpace hurts my everything. I haaaaaate it. -_-

On second thought, I should have brought Diss as a date because the VAST majority were W supporters (Jesus Loves You) - though I held my ground in cobalt Versace this evening. Prada and more cocktails tommorow?

LORD CHILD - when one told me on Wed. night that she and W were doing Jesus' work and speaking for the rights of the unborn against the murders, I thought I would lose it as she had me literally in a corner and there was nowhere to go. Fortunately, this VERY cool chick who was our Class Pres., the Homecoming Queen, the head of the student body, etc. - piped right back at her with "that didn't stop you from having an abortion when you were 15." Ahhhh - good times. I will take that moment and hold it dear for a LONG time.
Fortunately, most of my class is still maintaining their looks, though none as well as I am (puff puff) -- some have turned a little snooty in the sense that if you have no kids they cannot or at least have a hard time relating. I have to say though, I had a good time and saw people I had not seen in 20 years and it was nice to see them.
Tonight, however, is the party bus and the actual reunion. Diss. I may need some zinc tablets and olive oil for the kareoke
Of course, now I am off to the gym for an hour and a half on the stairmaster

i politely refused my fifth and have no intention of hitting up the tenth. i keep in touch with the people i deem important and have little interest in seeing anyone else.
however, i might be tempted to go. if only for horribly vain reasons.

Well, she was on and in fact and literally in her fifth martini. So, she just kind of walked away. I was laughing so hard I though I was going to choke  To make matters worse, the self professed servant of the Lord was wearing a size 6 when she is a 10, had cotton candy white hair down to her a$$, tanning bed leather for skin, and glitter make up. Laughing at that get up alone was worth the trip down here.
Alrightly - I leave in an hour for the party bus

Well, it is over. I had a blast. I must say that my nervousness was unwaranted. My friends (140 in my class) are all still very cool. If anything, they still drink more than I do, which is scary. I left early as I flew one of my Scotties (Wynee the Pooh) down with me and did not want to leave her alone too long. It was very interesting seeing a few people put up the "I am soooo great" walls and others just still the great people I knew. We did, however take over the mic. for "Superfreak" and "You Dropped the Bomb on Me" - also, when it came time for the big pic., I insisted on more lighting (puff puff) - My ex girlfriend got, for the second night in a row, weepy with me and I comforted her, which was odd to say the least. Oh Well, lessons learned, never fear age and old friends!!!!!!

Sounds like you had a blast, Jason. Glad you had a good time.
This thread reminded me that this December marks 10 years for me. I graduated midterm. 10 years... that kinda makes me feel old. I won't be going to any reunions, though. I hated that place. I have lots of great friends from high school that I still talk to almost daily. As for the rest of them... I grew up in the ghetto... I'm almost sure of what happened to them.

Geez. Im old....2006 makes 30 years for me. Glad you had a good time Jason, you're braver than I am, I have yet to go to even ONE reunion. I detested the people I went to school with, and my bestest best friend turned out to be a traitor, along with my sister (who I HATE). No reason for me to reconnect with any of those people really, so it is priceless to hear you had such a great time....Good for you!
