Hmm that's a good one. I think Bonnie Raitt and Stevie would make a good pairing. Also, remembering the Enchanted tour, I'd love to see her tour with Boz Scaggs again. I really enjoyed him.

Agrees  . I wish it would happen this summer, since Tom is supposed to be doing his 30th anniversary tour and Stevie will already be warmed up from those down under shows! I have to pray to the Rock and Roll Gods!!

There are two answers to this question...
One of them has been mentioned by several people already, and whom I saw in concert earlier this year. He is the reason why I ever cared about Stevie's music, and if you go through enough connections, he is the reason why I listen to 90% of the music I like. First name: Tom. Last name: Petty
The other I won't bother to name. Look at the sig. Look at the avatar. Better yet, look at the website.
I do NOT, however, want to see her tour with Lindsey Buckingham. As much as I would love it if he toured with anybody... I really, really would like to see him do a live performance without her. Because the last time he did, I was about 12.

Stevie would be blown off the stage by those bitches. She wouldn't subject herself to that.
I'd love to see a double bill with Petty, but I can't imagine he'd agree to fleecing ticket buyers like Stevie does when she tours.

She definately would not be blown off the stage by those bitches. I saw Pat recently and she does not sound like she used to, same for Ann. Ann actually sounds old as of late where as Stevie sounds young. As for Debbie she sounds flatter than a pancake lately.

Clean the potatos out of your ears. If Stevie sounds young, Michael Jackson sounds manly. She'd be blown off the stage by the power of Ann and Pat's vocals; whereas they still have incredible power behind them, Stevie has almost none. Whereas Ann, Pat, and Debbie have the vocal stamina to sing rocker after rocker, Stevie has very little. Sharing a stage with the likes of Heart and Pat Benatar would require more of Stevie than croaking out Rhiannon like an old bag if she wants to do anything but embarrass herself. Homegirl really shines when she sings the slower stuff like Beauty and the Beast and HAEWAFY, but when she has to rock out, forget it. She's lazy.

Allow me to splooge myself from excitement. Those tickets you speak of are, what, lawn seats? Or seats they were trying to fill because she wasn't selling well enough? Her ticket prices are too high, Fleetwood Mac's ticket prices are too high, and since Tom Petty has said numerous times that he doesn't believe in stealing ****loads of money from his fans like that, the chances of him agreeing to do so with Stevie are pretty much nil.

Debbie has vocal stamina! Yeah right. The last time i seen her on TV she sounded like ****. And when Stevie's voice gets passed the potato's she still sounds young. Tell you what, I'll clean the potato's out of my ears when you actually admit that you cant stand Stevie. All you do is rag on her. She cant sing, she cant write, she dresses like ****. I've read your posts and honestly don't know why you are a fan anymore.

I think she'd sell better if she lowered ticket prices and played smaller venues. Make it more of a singer-songwriter show than a rock show. It would kick ass. She wouldn't have to strain her voice by singing those rock songs and she could showcase how great she sounds on the slower numbers like Beauty and the Beast & Beautiful Child & Goodbye Baby. But that's just my dream.
I don't think better merchandise would help her ticket sales, but it wouldn't hurt to fire her brother and prevent **** like that rainbow t-shirt from being manufactured in the first place.
Debbie has vocal stamina!
You can bet your ass she does. Can she hit all the notes she did twenty years ago? Hell no. But her voice is stronger, richer, and much more powerful.
And when Stevie's voice gets passed the potato's she still sounds young.
Might I suggest Beltone?

I just wanted to add that in there. The tourbook this year was lackluster and the person who made it was nonchalant. The promo add is a picture from four years ago and she looks different today...I mean really, how much can I rant about. What's the name of this thread?

I recently saw Pat Benatar on one of her summer county fair tours. Her voice is not that strong anymore, but she puts far more energy into her shows than Stevie. Like Stevie, however, she sticks with nearly the same setlist tour after tour. She even admits she hates Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and then sings it.
Heart, on the other hand, blows both of them out of the water. They are still making powerful music and Ann's voice is in excellent form.

Ann Wilson's voice is quite a phenomenal instrument. I just got a new Heart bootleg on DVD and I just about lost it when she sang "Black On Black." That ****ing voice, crikey. She doesn't dodge any notes live. And Nancy has suddenly become an absolutely ace singer. I really noticed it when they released Live In Seattle.

Sorry, I have to butt in and correct you because this makes it sound like they are part of a "70's Flashback package deal tour" or something. They are still touring regularly in normal tour fashion (all different types of venues).

Alright, I should have said, "the last time I saw them they were playing in Primm, NV (on the state line, total pit) at a shoddy little place w/ Benetar opening." Not an impressive show.

My first vote is for Tom Petty for sure.....that would be really awesome!! I liked Stevie with Don Henley. Heart would be interesting. Can't really think of anybody else right now but Tom is for sure #1 pick. They could do Insider and Stop Draggin and Needles and Pins or The Apartment song and who knows what other songs they could perform together. It would be great though for sure...Just had to add my 2 cents. : ) Sue

Well unless Stevie lowers her price, I doubt we will see her out with Petty :( . Quote from TomPetty.com
"Like with the tickets, you know, it's been brought to our attention again and again and again: "You could be making twice the money you're making." We turn it down, I don't think with an eye toward being Robin Hood, I just think with an eye of, I want this trip to go on. I don't want to come through, burn everybody for $200 a ticket and then they can't afford to come see me again. Plus, I just don't think it's right. I don't think we need that much money. "
