Yep. Billy's been playing with Fogerty for awhile now. I just wish he'd get back in the studio on his own work. Unless I've missed something, we haven't had anything new since 2000's Are You With Me Baby.

Fogerty is playing in Melbourne on Saturday - or just outside Melbourne actually - I wonder if Billy is playing with him out here.
Tickets start at $99, so I guess I won't be finding out.
Damn, Mark Seymour is one of the supports, too.

If anyone had a thing with Billy, it would be Chris. Look at all the duets and stuff they did.

I don't think there was anything romantic going on between the two of them, if that's what you mean. But, Chris & Billy were and are great friends. She's described Billy as being one of the nicest, most good natured people she's ever known.

I don't think there was anything romantic going on with Chris and Billy, either. I was just saying that IF Billy were involved with one of the band members, it's more likely that it was Chris than Stevie.

If anything, Stevie would have had the thing with Rick Vito.

That's why that line-up didn't work. Chris was having a thing with Billy, and had had a thing with John, while Stevie was having a thing with Rick, but had had a thing with Mick. BTW, why is it that Stevie's men either have girlie names (Lindsey, Kim), names that end in "ick," or were in the Eagles?

Chris and Billy did write a song together for ITM.

I watched the Christine McVie video album the other night and Billy is in it talking about how it's such a big gig for him to play in her band. He's so young and cute. Also, I think he really brings something to the table as far as collaborating with her, much more than George or Todd Sharp who I just felt were wrong for her.

I believe you are correct, sir. Although I have absolutely no proof that such a thing ever happened.

I think that's true. Are You With Me is still his most recent solo record. A new one would be very much appreciated, since he's such a good writer.
I saw him with Fogerty in the spring. He played mostly acoustic guitar, but did an electric solo on I Heard It Thru the Grapevine, if I remember correctly. It was a good concert, but I messed with my experience a bit by trying out earplugs for the 1st time. They sort of made me get less into the music, which came unexpected.
