Man, that was IMHO the best of the Harry Potter movie franchise...And a much darker movie in mood than any of the previous three.

I wont give any SPOILERS for those of ya who have yet to see the movie (Saw the 12:30 PM showing at the AMC 24 in OKC...Only about 40 people were in the audience and only couple were kids), But trust me it was purely dark. Ralph Finnes was perfect as the pure evil of Voldemort.

I just got back from taking my little bro to see this.

It was awesome, though I thought it moved too quickly. But then again, Goblet of Fire is a huge book and there's no way they could devote the same amount of attention to each situation, etc. It was, as Brian said, a much darker film. Much more realistic.

I'd say it's tied with Prisoner as my favorite of the Potter films.

a much darker film. Much more realistic.

(A death) had nearly everyone in tears in the theatre...The Father's reaction to his son's death was to real for me having lived out his scream of absolute pain this past March (I nearly lost it in the theatre but was able to pull it together)

Just think, about 2 years there were rumors that Goblet of Fire was going to be 2 separate movies each being nearly 3 hours in length...I like how it started out of the blocks and built steam immediately. Best movie I have seen since the last Potter movie.

the previews showed a few movies that will great this coming summer:

Superman Returns (Looks awesome as hell!)
King Kong (Ditto!)
Over the Hedge (That animated preview is hellaciously funny!)
Happy Feet (A movie that should have some Fleetwood Mac in it considering it is a animated penguin movie)

I just saw it and and I definitely give it two thumps up. I think it's my favorite Harry Potter movie so far. I liked that it really brought out lots of different emotions. There are plenty of funny, light hearted scenes and then of course there are the darker scenes and the death at the end which was very sad.

SLEEVE ADJUSTMENT!1@* :D

I bolted to the theatre from work for the midnight premiere. I'm glad I purchased my ticket a week ago because apparently every place around here was sold out. I liked it. As someone who hasn't read any of the books, it was very easy to follow (there were a few things in #3 I didn't catch until my second viewing.) I too was a bit surprised that it was darker than the previous movies. More sexual innuendo too. Or maybe the audience here was just extra perverted... bunch of college kids, so that could very well be!

I liked Prisoner of Azkaban much better. I think they changed too much from the book.
Rita Skeeter was barely in the movie, but in she was a big part of the story. Not to mention Winky the house elf and Dobby weren't in the film at all. I was really surprised at that, because Winky's role was pretty important in the book. I realize that a lot of stuff had to be cut out for time constraints, but I thought those two things were pretty important. Also, I think Viktor Krum was horribly miscast. In the book his character read more like a big oafish kind of guy. I pictured him as kind of big like a football player, kind of broodish looking. The guy who played him seemed too confident. If I hadn't read the book first, I'd probably have liked the movie a little more.

I saw it last night and while I agree that they cut wayyyy too much stuff out of the book, I thought it pieced everything together pretty well. And how hot was Cedric Diggory? Jeez! As a Harry/Hermione fan, I loved the scenes between them. Even if she wouldn't stop crying over everything. Jeez, I guess she really is a teenage girl now.

I went to see it last night and although I thought they cut a lot of stuff from the book, I enjoyed it anyway. The special effects were amazing, as always and it was definitely a great movie!

I just came back from the theater and I give it 3 and 1/2 stars. It would get 4 but that whole british rock band thing was retarted. I don't recall that being in the book. Oh yeah, can someone explain to me why Voldemort was so small! FYI, I thought Hermoine looked beautiful when she walked down those stairs.
