I don't know if you guys have ever noticed...but on VH1's I love the 80s
(1984) It shows The Great Stevie Nicks waving to the crowd at Princes' Purple Rain premiere.. She's wearing some pretty groovy threads too ..very similar to Princes'...hehe.

Just thought I would let you know...

I remember MTV showed a brief snippet of Stevie entering the theater at the Purple Rain premiere with "Let's Go Crazy" on the soundtrack.

Does anyone know where this photo was taken?

Stevie attended the 11th Annual American Music Awards on January 16, 1984. Are these photos with Rebecca from that event? Physically, Stevie looks 1984ish here.

Could also be 86ish couldn't it, or just before... Sort of looks like the hair colour.

No it's definatley from 1984 although the dress she had on at the Purple Rain premiere was also white it looked lacier. By 1986 she was considerably pudgier from having to cut down on the coke.

She definently was pudgier in 86!!

Not in 1986 it wasn't .Through the whole Rock a Little tour LaNicks was still tooting albeit less than she had been after a doctor apparently warned her that her next toot could be her last.Hence my hypothesis for her weight gain then.The Klonopin didn't come into the picture until after her Betty Ford stint at the very end of 1986.

It was my understanding that during RAL tour she was drinking like a fish, eating like a horse and smoking like a champ...plus taking little itty bitty bumps only before OTR, NSW, BATB, EO17, & Rhiannon (will you never learn)...because, everyone knows, you can't quick doing coke and be on tour. Please.

I wish I could find that article some fan wrote about being invited backstage at a RAL concert and seeing Stevie totally wasted and gorging on cream pies.

I think I've read that article or one similar....she was touring with Joe Walsh and he was giving an interview...and whoever was doing the interview said he saw Stevie staring at a chocoalte pie...next time he glanced at her she had it half gone...then when he glanced back she was scraping up crumbs with her fingers....

Do you have the video from MTV with Mark Goodman trying to "connect" with Lindsey, who is obviously a little disappointed in the movie & so who starts acting "starrish" because he thinks all the brouhaha is so ridiculous?
