Yes, even those torch bearers of indie rock over at Pitchforkmedia.com occasionally like to indulge in a little pointless list-making. At least they keep things interesting with acerbic commentary.

Reading through this list, I thought, "Well, Fleetwood Mac are just so far off Pitchfork's radar, there's no way they'll make an appearance." But sure enough, way at the back on page 10, there they were. (Do I even need to mention which album is included?)

Be forewarned, many of the album covers shown are truly disgusting. Put aside your Cheez-Its for a few minutes before viewing.

Pitchfork sucks. But they included the one I always think of- Joan Armatrading's Track Record.

Pitchfork sucks.

They are often too pretentious for their own good. But how many institutions still write detailed, in-depth, thoughtful music reviews these days?

The cover for Holly McNarland's Stuff reminds me of Tusk.

Kinda.

Sorta.

Maybe.
