I think that all venues are different. I would suggest calling the venue before you go and asking them what there policy on camera are.

Don Henley does not like any cameras so that might be why. However, I did get in to a 2 voices show and took photos without being caught. I do know that the camera police were around at some of those shows.
I think that as long as you have a small digital you should be OK. Stevie did not mind those in Vegas. I would try to sneak it in and not be obvious about it.

I really think it depends on the venue---EVERY Stevie and FM concert I've been to in Michigan is pretty strict about cameras--have been told to put mine away every time.........

I did the same thing right in front of Lindsey and Stevie at the Mac show in 2004. Nobody said a word. The only Mac show that I did have a problem at was in Sunrise, FL.

At the Mansfield 04 show the gaurds were absolutely terrible with the fans. The gaurd almost ate some guy just for the camera. Told me to put mine away. I was so pissed that night.

In Champaign they said cameras were allowed. Just not the ones the detatchable lense I think. Whatever it was they specified what kind of camera was not allowed.

I think that it was 'video cameras'. I think that was the most relaxed concert that I was at as far as using my camera. Of course that was the first time that I tried the video feature.;)

Maybe the horrible concert just got them in a pissy mood. I know I was.

The Fleet Center was fine with cameras at the LIB taping. I was standing right under Stevie, snapping away. I suspect it's just because security there is pretty lazy, though. A woman next to me spilled her beers before the show started and security just stepped over it all.

A few, but not all of them. I took them with a crappy disposable camera, not my digital camera, and my scanner is a broken piece of ****.

just take the camera in,or use your cell...if you have good seats or zoom-in.

i've never had a problem. vegas, they just shrugged their shoulders and i actually asked the security guard who was standing next to me if it was okay. he said she's fine with cameras but if my flash got out of hand he'd have to ask me to stop using the flash. all righty!

and at hershey this year, i know kelly and marissa (maybe?) had to take cameras back to their car but i had no problem.

key: bring a bag with a zippered pocket. they've never asked me to open it. and if you set off a metal detector, tell them it's your cell and/or mints tin. i feel so devious?

I did not take mine, but LOTS of people did. I don't think Stevie cares.

it all depends on where youn asee a show. Some places are much more strict than others.:distress:

I always get a camera in by ace-wrapping it to the inside of my ankle. Most places I went to didn't have issues with cameras after you got it in. It's almost like a stupid game they play: they say no cameras and search you for them, but after you get one in they will sit there and do nothing as you snap away. (that's been my experience at most of the so. cal. shows anyway.) If you sit up close, I wouldn't use a flash though - don't wanna irritate Stevie. I've heard stories about her having her security guy tell certain individuals to stop with the flash photography.

I dont know about other SO CAL places, but when I saw Stevie at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, Calif in July of this year, they were bitches about not only cameras but everything. They tried to take my cell phone away, claiming it was a camera (i showed it to her and said IT'S A PHONE LADY!) and I wasn't even using the camera phone, I was actually using the phone, letting someone hear the song...plus they were major assholes about the "Stage rush" for Edge of 17

Really? I was at the Pond show too, although I chose not to rush the stage at that particular show. I had second row center seats and we chose to stay there that time, so I can't really comment on the a-holes regarding that situation. I did take photos, though not many because Stevie looked at me after I shot one (accidentally) with the flash on. She smiled so she didn't seem pissed, but at the same time I didn't want to push my luck. :o Security never said anything to me though.

On my tickets I had it said no cameras, audio, video, also someone tried to take a pic of Stevie near the stage with a camera phone and was told to put it away.

I was in the 2nd row too on the left side, isnt that weird? Anyway, the worst part was security had told me and the guy next to me that would be would be allowed to come up for "Edge of 17" and even said the name of the song and all that...and when it starts we try to go up, and they say NO NO, yadayada, so we try throughout the whole song...and eventually security on our side atleast locked arms, and formed a barricade around the stage...and the sad part was stevie came over to the left side and there was really no1 there so she just moved on to the middle-ish part

Yeah, I left my camera at home for that one and was so disappointed when I saw cameras were allowed. Oh, well...still had a great time.

the last Charlotte show said no cameras, but they were selling disposables at the shirt-shacks! and everyone and their brother had a cell phone camera

Just bring it - the worst they can do is tell you to take it back to your car or they'll confiscate it until after the show.

If you do get it in, be careful. Some of you may recall I was almost escorted out of the Post Gazette last June.:p

Wow, that's hardcore.

The Chevy Centre doesn't allow cams. I am thinking about definately trying to sneak a camera to my show. Do cams set off metal detectors????

Anywho, I'm just trying to think of places to hide it. Maybe potentially in my underwear. Yeah, I know... I'm cool like that.

But yeah if by chance I can't get it in, my dad DOES have a new camera phone........ We just have to figure out how to use it.

So far I had no problem with any cameras yet,at the Enchanted tour. I brought my slr 35mm camera with a 70mm to 150mm lens, in Camden and the Holmdel shows.and some other showsThe security was friendly with me as long I dont use the flash.nice closeups of the Edge walk.the only problem was the weight of the camera, it was so dam heavy.now I have a digital one now.

I think I'm going to try and get my hands on a tiny digital camera for this year's tour!
