Why did she use this pic for her promo?? I think though the outfit is pretty and while she looks thin in the waist, her face looks terrible. I really think its an unflattering pic and think its awful..... Have i made myself clear
:sorry: but i have to ask...
coz she has also used it for the Aus/NZ tour.... dammit

Dude I asked myself this question everytime I saw that poster. I hate that picture. There were soooo many other much better pictures she could have used. Grr.

Well...it's an image which most people would associate her with, and it's not her face we all look at (I don't expect most folks would actually stand and stare at it...more like take a quick glance passing by). BTW..it's the dress that we look at (the face comes later).I can bet if Stevie stepped out on the street in ordinary clothes, no-one would notice her. However, put her in a black dress all flowy and "urchin" looking...
Another thing, in that pic, her face shows a woman of determination, and thats what I saw at the SYW concert in 2003, I was most impressed, considering I was there initially for her other half!

Yes, she is determined to perform "Stand Back" 200 more times in the next 10 years.

I agree...Plus, it's from 2001. Why not use something more current?

Probably because she has not had an current photo shoots? Unfortunately. (or if she has, she is not happy with the pictures)
I think there are other TISL photos that are much prettier that she could have used.
The one Janis posted was on that giant billboard out front of Caesar's and everyone I was with, commented that the picture was not their favorite.

Have any of the Aussies seen the adds for concerts (I've seen Sydney one) and they show footage from lots of different concerts but over dub it with album vocals

Stevie rarely smiles in press shots. Her cue is from the world of modeling: Don't smile because it shows the wrinkles, specifically around the eyes.

Not true. I recognized her in "street clothes and no make up on and sunglasses when I stopped her and got my autograph!"

I don't mind the picture, I just don't like her hair like that. It needs to be straight or curled. Not like she just slept on it wet.

ok, i should clarify, the pic overall looks good, but just if you look at the face only its not a good shot, especially from the nose down...
And i have seen no stevie ads Tynan!
