What happened to the RAL and WH master reels?

I'm no expert on the Stevie master reels, but judging by what's turned up in recent years it seems fans have gotten their hands on master-quality outtakes and demos from the Bella Donna, Other Side of the Mirror and Street Angel sessions. So what happened to the Rock a Little and Wild Heart masters? Outtakes and demos from these sessions, such as "Belle Fleur," "Thousand Days," "No Spoken Word," "Greta," "Running Through the Garden" etc. seem to exist only as third- or fourth-generation copies.

I've heard that Modern put all Stevie's masters up for sale at some point in the 1990s... Were the RAL and WH sessions not included in this lot?

So what happened to the Rock a Little and Wild Heart masters?That's a great question. The vast majority of reel material was for Bella Donna. Methinks there may have been some other storage areas in the facility containing work from the other albums, but possibly the contents of those storage areas wasn't auctioned or sold -- or sold to someone else who is sitting on them.

Figuratively speaking, of course.

Yeah I've wondered about those reel to reels as well since so much of the belladonna and mirror are out there and we all know she recorded like tons of songs for ral...not really sure how many for wildheart but I wish those would get out too and much better copies of some of the songs...I so love 'all the beautiful worlds'....and there could be more that we just don't know about I think the wild heart lp is the one album that other than all the songs we do really know about...theres more that we don't know about....haven't ever seen or heard the 'standback' demo or 'wild heart' demo etc....It would be interesting to find out...I'd love to know .....

Would love to hear all of those hidden gems....demo versions, acapella...Stevie talking, etc....like being a fly on the wall.

"All the Beautiful Worlds" is one song I *have* heard in a master-reel quality version. I downloaded it somewhere months ago. That seems to indicate there is master-reel stuff floating around from the WH sessions... but where's the rest of it? Or is that all there is? :shrug:

care to share this rarity???...all i have are the 3/4 generation demos!!!!...I love the song and would LOVE to hear the quaility of the master version!!!:] :blob2: :]
