I agree. Awhile ago people trashed this video on another thread. I think this video is so romantic and I love how she looks when they cut to her onstage with the black dress. Hot. Hot. Hot.

And when she falls into the room on fire. Nooooooooooo.

and another thing I noticed is that when the camera shows the window while it's raining and at first you see Brad Jeffries, but if you look you can see Stevie on the left side of the screen soaking wet, almost like she's standing outside in the rain looking in on him

I also love the shot of Stevie brushing/playing with her hair.

[Neal]

Loooooove this video!!!

Thanks so much for posting!!! :wavey:

[DavidMn]

Here's something from the tosotm tourbook some might be interested in,
it shows a storyboard and Stevie's thoughts on the song and video,
I made it pretty big so it should be easy to read.:)

thanks for this too - I've always wanted that picture of her on the balcony - but much clearer and close without all that writing over her - I think that'd be an awesome pic

You still could maybe, try starting it like before you go to bed. I used to do that sometimes when I was on dial-up and not expecting late night calls...

A reminder that this video is on VH1 Classic tomorrow (Dec 21) in the 7am timeslot. My apologies if someone already posted this in another thread.

How did I miss this thread? Could someone refresh those links?

Yes...I need this video! (Relax...NOT for me...I'm trying to do something for Neal. My 80's-big-hair-loving friend).

Wow, I love your quote. It is great to read intelligent, informed "criticism" of Christine. Also, I always loved that line in Temporary One, nice selection.

awww...thanks! I guess it is "criticism" depending on how you look at it...I just basically saw it as a description of how Chris was sort of a "balance" to Stevie...sort of how they complemented each other maybe....and also the "timeless sadness" part really got to me!

And Temporary One is just one of those songs that I could listen to over and over and never grow tired of, so catchy it is...I also think that the chorus line (which I use in my sig.) is very descriptive of the band during The Dance period..."The bridge will bring us back together"...even though Chris didn't specifically write it for that event...it def. can be seen in that light.

[Sahara]

It's an awesome video, she looks gorgeous. The hair, the hair!! :]

Definitely one of my favourite videos, if not my favourite song. Every shot of her is just divine.

'Cept that white and black dress ... I've seen better. But that's trivial. It's wonderful.

Burnish has a nice page on this video:

The baby is a daughter of one of Stevie's friends, Kate Rose. That's what Lori said on the NicksFix.

[BellaSoprano71]

Looks like Stevie's baby pictures...same eye's and mouth....they couldn't of matched those two better...How cute
