I had Ares but I deleted it and just was going to get it again. Now I can't seem to find it.
Where is a site I can download some good music for free? Do they exsist anymore??
:)

There are a number of invite-only torrent sites, but most of them are built on the idea that you're downloading the music to see if you want to buy it, because supporting artists is important.
Otherwise, lots of newer bands stream music or put up mp3s on their websites.
And a song from iTunes still costs just 99 cents.
I don't really use peer-to-peer programs anymore, but I believe Limewire is still up and running, as is Kazaa.

My 16 year old brother uses Limewire, and says it's the best. And trust me, he would know. punk

if you are a live journal user, there are lots of good communities where people share new stuff and take requests.

I'm using Morpheus at the moment, have to say it does find more stuff than Limewire.
