That's a really great photo of Teedee, & i love her getup. But if I had to wear all those black blankets in the Australian spring/summer, I'd be sweating like a turd on a DynoTab T-16 RX.

I was talking about the guy behind him, with Karen.
Come to think of it that may be Karen's date or some representative
of McManus - to me it looks like a bodyguard, though. :shrug:

There is also someone else in the group walking between stevie and the "unknown" person also dressed in black. You can see an black arm and black purse. That may be Karen.

Next guess?

I thought that was Mc Mannus's wife with the bodyguard. :shrug: Does Karen wear a moon? I never saw one on her but maybe she does. Anyhoo, that does not look like Karen .....it's possible I guess but I really don't see a resemblance. If it is Karen, the twin outfits are lame.

I agree...twin outfits would be lame if it is the PA.....but it is not the PA...

The moon and the hats are too similar to be coincidence....Karen is not that pretty. Karen has a slumpy kind of look to her (no offense Karen if you read the board, but come'on you know Stevie wouldn't have a PA who might detract from her beauty in any way...it's just the way of it)

Well it certainly isn't Lori. I've only seen Karen from a distance backstage and then on the DR DVD. I'm sure, just like any woman, she can look wonderful when glammed up. And I certainly thought she was pretty when I saw her. And from what I remember Kelly was blond. As as for a similar outfit... I can't see enough of it to determine that. Obviously the black theme seems to be going on there.

Yep... that's Karen... and she IS that pretty... she just normally doesn't get all gussied up like that- i'd prefer to go to work in jeans, comfortable shirt, comfortable shoes, and barely any makeup, too. but hey, when the occasion calls for it- you gotta put on your sunday best, and she really is pretty- just look at her smile- totally Karen's smile.... Stevie Nicks Inc. must have a good dental plan.

Well I think Karen is pretty so Stevie obviously didn't think like that when hiring!

I'm not saying that they AREN'T dressed like junior high girls ("hey what are you wearing tomorrow?" "i'm wearing the black dress and the black hat with the moon necklace, you should wear yours, too!" It is Karen, and why is that weird? Lots of special people in Stevie's life have moon necklaces. Is it so hard to believe that after how many years of being her assistant, they might be friends too? Maybe she should have worn a burlap sack that reads "Stevie's Slave" :p. It's the Melbourne Cup... you don't go in jeans and a t-shirt. Stevie apparently wanted Karen to accompany her and they both got dressed up for the event :shrug:.

(Btw, I've gone to watch the Emmy arrivals for the past 2 years, and plenty of stars hire "pretty" PAs, and they get all dressed up to go and carry their bosses' purses on the red carpet too.)

I just don't see how a PA, pretty or otherwise, could detract from someone famous. And I would definitely assume that after all these years, she and Stevie are friends. I would be freaked out if they weren't!

I agree, I think when you think of Karen as ONLY a personal assistant, that's where it's off...She's not like Anna Nicole's PA , where Anna will yell at her and say "DON'T BACK TALK ME!" "COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" They have been friends for many years. I in fact have seen Karen dressed much better than "slumpy" when accompanying Stevie over the years...Just because she's Stevie's PA doesnt mean she should dress like Rosario on Will and Grace!
