She was on Kidd Kraddick (morning radio DJ...KISS FM in Dallas) this morning talking about it. She sounded normal, but didn't like being in a house where people practiced witchcraft (I take it). I was under the impression they were a Jewish family, but she said no. They may have been Wiccans or something. I'll have to watch Wednesday to find out. She said she was just sick of the camera crew and all of it, and wanted them to leave.

Livia
10-31-2005, 09:50 PM
Uh...Jews don't practice witchcraft (says the Jewish girl, sitting here in her witch hat, passing out candy to trick-or-treaters).

I heard her on the radio this morning also - she seems nice and "normal." And that she does know how to pronounce gargOyle, but she was pissed off and got tongue-tied...the other family was into astrology, tarot cards and apparently, had a gargoyle collection. You can read about both families here:

http://www.fox.com/tradingspouses/

The produces knew exactly what they were doing.

I know, but I had read on TWoP or somewhere that they were Jewish, not witches, and I was scratching my head over why she was upset over that. This whole deal is too wierd and you're right, the producers knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Wife Swap/Trading Spouses put opposites together for a reason. I bet soon we'll see some KKK grand wizard going to live with a black family.

Oh, man, where do I begin? You could set a drink on that woman's ass....

Yes, I was ROFLMAO during the smell/puke scene. And when the kids were cracking up, "OMG, she's throwing up!" I'm sure Marguerite thought the dryer was possessed...

Those bumps on her eyelids freak me out...her friends were all a bunch of beeyotches to the Hypnomom, whom I love! That blonde woman was SO mean! Next week should be good w/ the Hypnomom bonding with the doormat daughter...

I got the feeling Marguerite was more freaked out by the GAY psychic, not just cuz he was a pyschic...

And hippy dad could have just explained to her that the summer solstice was like a New Year's Eve party, for the 1/2 year. Surely she celebrates New Year's Eve the southern way - with black-eyed peas and doing "something" at midnight. Make a wish and throw your incense stick into the fire and shuddup already! Open your mind, you hypocritical over-the-top Christian-AAAH zealot! Gawd, she's the worst kind...

And what about her daughter having a child out of wedlock? Isn't that unGAWDLY?

I almost had a heart attack when it was revealed that Jeannie allocated $20,000 for Marguerite to have gastric bypass surgery. She should have allocated more for her to have those disgusting cholesterol deposits removed from her eyelids.

dat biotch is crazy. I laughed so hard my throat is sore. Like you all said, it ticked me off that she lied to Jeannie about her family and then let loose on her own poor family. Jeannie should've kept the damn money for herself - she was so sensitive and really "killed with kindness". One thing that struck me was that she was so upset about being there, but had no problem saying she left New Orleans, which is, as we all know, full of things that would upset her...kinda contradicting herself. When I saw she allocated 20K for gastric bypass I said, she's gonna call them back and want the money and sure enough it said she did take the money.

Their house is so tainted
Their dark side such a surprise
But her God is never cold
When Margaret shoots her evil eye

And she'll pray for you

All the better just to bring Jesus to you

When I saw she allocated 20K for gastric bypass I said, she's gonna call them back and want the money and sure enough it said she did take the money.

Keep in mind, they lived in Pontchatoula (spelling?), meaning her house and life probably got fairly wiped out by Katrina. I bet she blames the entire hurricane on her taking that blood money from the devil!!!!!

Poor little fool...(oops, not little)
-------------------
Haven't seen anyone mention this: Anyone wanna lay bets on how long Jeannie ("normal wife") and her husband's marriage will last? They seemed kind of dysfunctional and not loving towards each other. She was SO quick to blame him when she had only heard Margaret's side of the story....and he seems like such a nice guy. As she said in week one, "well, I like to argue and disagree with him" How sad....

I thought the same thing...her house is probably gone and she blames it on herself for accepting the DEVIL'S MONEY...

I do feel sorry for her though. To be so brainwashed and so misguided by religion. It is nice to have beliefs, no matter what they are....but to be so closed minded as that woman is, she will never grow as a person....how sad.

OMFG.

I almost had a heart attack when it was revealed that Jeannie allocated $20,000 for Marguerite to have gastric bypass surgery. She should have allocated more for her to have those disgusting cholesterol deposits removed from her eyelids.

Ewww...that is gross...are they really cholesterol deposits?

I think money should have been allocated to remove those...although I can not imagine the family telling the woman, "well, yeah, my mom is all messed up, she has nasty little bumps all over her eyes that really need to be removed, she is as big as a cow and has always wanted gastric bypass surgery and she has a huge gap between her teeth. please just allocate all the money to her so we don't have to look at her anymore."

What a let down - 45 minutes of commercials and only a couple new phrases in the meltdown scene.

Are you drunk, Tiff? What sort of drinking game did y'all end up doing?

Hehe. Shots for every "Christian," "dark-sided," or "tainted!!1."

God, what a crazy, ignorant woman. She was so awful the entire time. I feel bad for the other family. Jeannie did all these nice things and bonded with her kids, and Marguerite/Margaret/whatever didn't try to do anything with her's except convert them. I love how at the end, during her meltdown when she's trashing the other family, her husband is like "That's bullsh*t Margaret."

I thought the same thing, on both counts. The way her family was looking at her flipping out, you knew they didn't share her close-minded beliefs. The husband also said, "Even if they're Jewish, they'd still believe in God." At least he knows the difference between "God" and "Jesus."

Remember last week when that neighbor/friend at the party asked "So, do you believe in "God" or do you believe in a "higher power"?" I would have loved to have asked her, "So, are you drawing a distinction between God and a higher power???? I thought God WAS a higher power!!!"

My thoughts exactly. If she wanted to spout off to her husband that's one thing, but to go so crazy in front of the kids who had NO idea what her problem was....? That little girl was obviously upset seeing her mom that way, let alone the two older ones. It's amazing, the way people screw up their kids. maybe they'll talk about that in therapy one day.

I totally agree. That woman was out of her mind- seriously. She absolutely could not control herself and I love how at the end they said that she did end up deciding to keep the money. I'm thinking if the other mother knew how wacked out she was, she would have had different ideas for that money.

I noticed that she hugged the kids and not him when she came home.

Yeah, that freaked my husband out, too. But I think the psycho mom had really led her to believe that her (the nice mom) husband had pushed all kinds of sh*t on her and that's why she was so SCAAAAAAARED! So, she seems kind of pissed at him until she got the whole story. It was so sad b/c he was so obviously happy to have her home- making all those little noises, etc. Poor guy lived with that nutjob for however long- was thrilled to see his wife, I'm sure.

Are you playing with photoshop, or did you find those???
:xoxo:

Sadly, I found them. But I was so tempted to claim the dying Jesus one as my own creation.

They're all great. For some reason I'm particularly enamored of the France one, and the Mona Lisa....

Yes, he looks hot as ever in those pics. Probably because he's been trying to woo Sienna back.

I didn't know he was so buff, I thought he was thinnish.
She's kinda dumb if she goes back, at least if she expects him not to cheat. Also, he's kinda dumb if he cheats on her. But the point is, they're both hot, and I wish I was their pool girl. That's really the point, isn't it??
