Of course you do. He's inhuman slime without one iota of feeling, what's not to like? Look up "disgusting" in the dictionary and you'll find a photo of his constipated-looking mug. I'd give up everything I own just to crack him in the jaw once.

I watch his show too. Is he really gay?

He's a huge Mary. He was just outed for trying to pick up a dude in a fecking PIANO BAR.

I lunge for the remote at breakneck speed as soon as Anderson is over so that I can change the channel before having to listen to her. She drives me bonkers. Go back to Faux News, silly girl.

Just hearing her shout "Thanks so much, Anderson!!" every night makes me ill.

I wish I could find the old video clip because it made me laugh so hard -- back when J.Ho released her last album, Fox did a report on tension between citizens of the Bronx and J.Ho. He said..."J.Lo's new song 'Jenny From the Block' is all about Lopez's roots, about how she's still a neighborhood gal at heart, but folks from that street in New York, the Bronx section, sound more likely to give her a curb job than a blow job!" (he was supposed to say block party). We all know where his mind is

Here's the ridiculous article on Shepherd Smith trying to pick a dude up at a PIANO BAR in case you want to read it. It's rather stupid if you ask me.

http://www.newyorkblade.com/2005/10-28/viewpoint/editorials/out.cfm

There is nothing more ridiculous than a public figure refusing to reveal whether he or she is straight — no heterosexual person would deny being straight.

ANDERSON COOPER MAY be the most ubiquitous personality on cable television these days. Popping up on a best-dressed or most-beautiful-people list, profiled in magazines or penning a column for Details magazine, Cooper gets a lot of ink. But in all the fawning stories about his good looks, sartorial smarts, family wealth and status as one of TV’s biggest rising stars, one key detail is always missing.

Cooper, the popular CNN anchor, coyly refused to answer “the question” in a recent lengthy profile in New York magazine. Though long rumored to be gay — he once suggested he is gay in comments made at a GLAAD Media Awards event — Cooper chooses the closet over honesty.

“The whole thing about being a reporter is that you’re supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in,” Cooper told New York magazine, “and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that.”

Does he believe that female and African-American reporters lack credibility to cover stories since their minority status is showing? Should any heterosexuals who let it slip that they’re married to someone of the opposite sex be kept off the air, or does his rule apply only to gay journalists?

(Note to Cooper: I have been a journalist for as long as you have and being open about my sexual orientation has never cost me a job, a story, a source or a promotion.)

Cooper isn’t the only well-known TV personality hiding his sexual orientation. Shepard Smith, who hosts a popular program on Fox News and received widespread praise for his work covering Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath, also dodges questions about his sexual orientation.

Smith once chatted me up in a New York City gay piano bar, bought me drinks, and invited me back to his place. When I declined, he asked me to dinner the next night, another invitation I politely refused.

We sat at the bar chatting and drinking martinis until 3 a.m., our conversation interrupted only when he paused to belt out the lyrics to whatever showtune was being performed.

THERE ARE, OF course, much bigger stars that remain in the closet. Jodie Foster’s recent film “Flightplan” spent two weeks atop the box office charts. She, too, continues to refuse any discussion of her private life.

I couldn't imagine. The visual it conjures in my mind is hilarious enough. I can just picture him sipping his Cosmo and slamming it down upon the wooden table to shout "MAME!" in unison with the current performer as loudly as possible. All bets are off when they start playing Debbie Reynolds, though.

One of my favorite movie reviews ever had the following line about the Lucy version of Mame. Referring to the camera tricks to make her look younger... I paraphrase...

"It looks as if the cinematographer photographed Lucille Ball through a Navajo blanket."

CNN eyes primetime jolt
Net weighs options for Cooper

CNN is weighing another primetime shuffle in a bid to highlight its marquee talent, Anderson Cooper.

Net is considering making Cooper a permanent fixture at 10 p.m. and moving Aaron Brown to 7 p.m., a drastic shift that would again change the face of CNN's primetime.

While CNN execs insisted that no decision has been made on the changes, sources close to the network say the net has been searching for ways to better feature Cooper, who has emerged over the past year as a breakout talent.

His 7 p.m. show, "Anderson Cooper 360," has about half the nightly viewers of his counterpart at Fox News, Shepard Smith, who hosts the fast-paced "Studio B."

CNN paired Cooper with Brown during the aftermath of Katrina and extended "NewsNight" from one to two hours to give more coverage to the storms that wreaked havoc on the Gulf Coast.

The move gave Cooper three hours of screen time in primetime.

Since then, CNN said, its 11 p.m.-12 a.m. hour has increased 41% over a rebroadcast of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" in the 25-54 demographic. In addition to the Cooper-Brown switch, the net is weighing whether to make the second hour of "NewsNight" permanent.

Move would reunite Brown with his former producer, Wilson Surratt, who was shifted to the 7 p.m. timeslot when Cooper was added to "NewsNight" in September. The former producer of "Anderson Cooper 360," David Doss, became producer of "NewsNight" in the same staff shakeup.

Moves would be the biggest changes to primetime since Jonathan Klein took over as president of CNN's U.S. operation in November of 2004.

The net is still searching for a formula to retain viewers during the down side of a news cycle. Its strongest primetime show, "Larry King Live," is averaging less than 1 million viewers while Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly is pushing 3 million viewers on a nightly basis.

Fox has had virtually the same primetime lineup since 1996, with the exception of Greta Van Susteren, who jumped from CNN to Fox in 2002.
