silly rabbit! we all know he DIDNT but he engineered events to occupy the White House anyway! I knew you'd respond......the reason this is important is to EXPOSE it and PREVENT it from happening again. It is vitally important that we get Bush out, and if we can show he never won, so much the better, see?

There is still part of me that is incredulous that this could happen in the United States in 2005. It makes me really sad and then I just get pissed. At some point, when he no longer wields all this power, everything will come out. Not that it isn't out now, but Americans don't believe anything that ain't on the TV.

Well, I am afraid the Bush Regime will not end with George. Jeb will run for President and win! By no means is this game over.

Remember, George (and Jeb) are just puppets, if you really think he is the one making all these decisions then you are giving him more credit than he is due -- the real question is, who is the puppet master? That is what really scares me.

However Republicans are going to need to watch themselves come primaries! If they nominate another "electable" candidate...then the dems. are going to win.

What scares me most is really we have no control. Yes, the people may vote for a dem by an overwhelming majority, but will we see those numbers or will the computer say Jeb has won, regardless of what is real!? Did the dems win by an overwhelming majority last time? We will never really know. Either way, I am losing my civil liberties and people are cheering as we go down in flames.

By the way--- I am a social democrat and a fiscal republican. Our current leader scares the hell out of me.

Believe it or not, Jeb is actually an intelligent man, and he's very much in control of his government (witness how on top of things he usually is both before and after hurricanes). By no means is he the kept-in-the-dark idiot boy king that his brother became. That doesn't make him a good governor, but it is unfair to categorize him with George in that way.

Clinton should have been gone! And if you ask me, they would have never had a case for impeachment (and succeeded) if not for my Ann!

So if anyone can get a President impeached...it is Ann.

She said the title of her new book (due out next year) MIGHT be "Impeach Bush!"

No - you are not. You are a religious conservative who wants the govt. to enforce Christianity over all other religions in direct violation of the First Amendment. Well this is essentially a Christian nation. But I don't think THAT EVERYONE that lives in the USA should be forced into Christianity...no.

So why use only the Judeo-Christian form of marriage? By allowing only one form to be officially recognized by the govt. and allowing automatic benefits otherwise unavailable to flow to that marriage, one religion is being promoted over another. Thus, the only conclusion is for the govt. not to be in the business of marriage at all or in any way. Yet, the Christian right will never allow that because they for some reason think that if the US Govt. does not put their religion first, their religion will somehow fail or be less. That insecurity is ridiculous to me because I would believe regardless of what the Govt. told me. In the end, politicians know religion is a wedge issue and they use it that way, which belies the true intent of any form of Christianity I know of.

How is a lack of govt. recognition of those stopping you from particiapting in them?

As for the Pledge, "under God" was put in there to stop Communism and as a way to force Christianity down the throats of Americans.

I don't recall any democracy being involved when the phrase when sandwiched in there in the first place.

Take note, though, Brown Eyes. Here is another wonderful instance of how you epitomize hypocrisy. On the one hand, you seem to think that liberals try to solve all of their problems through legal action, as opposed to "the democratic way." (I wasn't aware that our court system was not part our democracy, but I assume you mean through voting, though I'm not sure why something like the Pledge of Allegience would ever be a matter of voting, but now I'm just getting off-track.) On the other hand, for the past several weeks, you have been farting "Impeach Bush!" in every direction - you elected him "the democratic way," but now that he's proved to be just as incompetent as you've always feared, you want the law to remove him on "whatever" grounds somebody can dream up.

I don't expect you recognize this as blatant hypocrisy. That would require actual thought and consideration of the issues at hand. But feel free to offer up some utterly meaningless catchphrase, followed by your favorite cheerful emoticon of the moment.
