OK. I'll be the first to admit, I am a complete road rager. I hate to drive. I get on 465 (loop around Indianapolis) and I get totally pissed off. This morning, I'm in the fast lane long enough to pass. So, I passed who I wanted to, and some jerk in a Grand Prix gets up on my ass trying to get me over. So, what do I do? Slowly get over in the middle lane. All the while, taking up both lanes, and reducing my speed at least 10mph. When he gets up next to me, I flip him off, and continue off to work. I would never do well in LA, because (no offense) they all drive like morons. I don't do well on a 6 lane highway, let alone a 10 lane. So, I guess my question is, how do you drive? Do you get as mad as I do? Do you yell and curse, or do you just let it all roll off your back?

i totally cuss people under my breath...after a road-rage incident on me, I don't flip anyone off anymore (usually), but I am total "road-monitor"...hehe

Actually, I thought I was bad...but there's a girl I used to work with who used to throw things (like glass Dr. Pepper bottles) out her window at drivers who pissed her off! She actually caused a lady to have an accident once. No one was hurt, but my former co-worker got into a lot of trouble. :lol:

In my younger years- I was a road rager. But it didn't pay off. Got myself into a couple bad situations. I drive alot (I'm in sales) so I've learned to drive very defensively coz there's alot of a-holes on the road. I still get ticked, but I figure the jerk that just cut me off, is going 40 mph over speed limit, tail gates, etc. will unfortunately learn the hard way. (Like I did...)

I made my one mistake being a road rager and it tought me a lesson. I was coming up to a stoplight with a truck waiting to turn left so I went to move around him and as I moved over Mario Andretti comes flying up and screeches his brakes and almost hits me. I opened my window and let him have it. Afterwards, I thought I was pretty hot S*it. Well out of the corner of my eye, I could see his door fly open and his eyes had this look like he was gonna kill me. I sped through the light and this creep followed me through city streets at like 40 mph right on my ass. I'm so lucky there werent any children playing around there at that time. Eventually I was able to turn onto a side street and lose him. I've always been very careful what I do on the raod since.:nod:

no worries. I have MAJOR road rage! I wish I had a long scooper in the front of my car, where I could just pick up slow moving cars and put them to the side! :lol:

I *hate* driving. And I'm a total road-rager. I tend to get very frustrated in traffic, which is always bad in the Boston area, and it brings out the worst in me. Especially when people cut me off or beep at me (beep at me and I'm likely to beep at you right back and roll down my window to yell and flip you the turkey). Or those people who put their blinkers on and don't turn for another ten fecking blocks. I tried substituting cuss words for better ones (for example: "bless you" instead of "f*ck you"), but it just stopped working for me after so long. So, all in all, I loathe driving.

And most of the time I get cut off..........drive up beside them.........sure enough..........22yo girl, with her cell phone firmly implanted to the side of her face. I do see more girls doing this than guys.

I think road rage is so uncool. People look so silly when they get all worked up. Being in LA, I have heard and seen some good stuff though that is really funny...except when it ends in violence.

LA has gotten out of hand...a little road rage and then bang you're dead.

Nah...I keep it cool. I hate driving anyway...but then things are worse when I'm biking.

It's general consensus here that bicyclists drive far more dangerously than motorists, and it's TRUE:o I think I'm pretty good, I'm one of the few idiots left who'll still indicate direction, whereas most cyclists just go wherever they please. All the same I've had a couple of near accidents anyway.

Ya know, that is so true. A long time ago...like at least 10 years, when i did the road rage crap (gave it up right after this incident)...Some woman was trying to make a left turn (no controlled intersection, but legal left turn) and she had to cross 2 lanes of oncoming traffic, so she blocked the left lane as she inched accross to make that left. I honked, I fingered, I roared. She just smiled and waved.
My friend and I laughed so hard, cause I really felt stupid. So since then, I just chill.

Also...if you are going to TURN THEN TURN! Don't signal a damn mile before you turn...and slow down five minutes before you get there!!!!

If there is no passing around...I simply put on my signal and pass in a turning lane. If I get pulled my excuse is that I had every intent on turning, but realized it was the wrong turn! :lol:

If that doesn't work...the fact that my dad is a cop helps sometimes!
