Well,
for starters:
1. What was she wearing?
2. Who was she with?
3. Did she sing?
Please find this out as soon as possible :wavey:

Aw, I was going to ask you how it was. I clipped out an ad for the show and thought of going, but decided against it because I figured she would play mostly stuff from Wildflower. Anyway, cool to know Stevie was in attendance!

1. What was she wearing?
Not a clue.
2. Who was she with?
Not a clue.
3. Did she sing?
NO.
Now, if I had gone, I would have detailed answers to the first two questions. Instead, I was here, with you all, slinging posts and laughing my ass off.

Well, If I ever went to a show there, I imagine the parking would be rather tough. I didnt look like there were many spots near the place. Heavy traffic too, but worth the trip. I almost went out there in 1997 to see Fleetwood Mac there.

My friend is SO not a fan. And she was somewhat drunk, so she didn't pay much attention.:sorry:

It's great.
You just have to get VIP parking.

I knew it! I thought of going just to see Stevie but that sounds like a lousy reason to spend $100 and deal with parking at the Hollywood Bowl on a slim chance SN might be there.
Oh yeah and I don't like Sheryl Crow ;).
Now give us details! HELOOOOOOOOO did she sing or what?

Sorry about that I went to type my reply and the phone rang and by the time I came back 35 min later to send it he already said she didn't sing. I missed it basically.

I could have just walked over to her box, I have done that before. The only thing I would have asked her about was the orchestra.
But yeah, last night was a world class hoot.

Oh, really? well, that would have been better then. The whole world needs to know about the orchestra!!!

I've been to over 150 concerts.
The Hollywood Bowl is the WORST FUUCKING venue I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE!!!
Beautiful outdoor shows, but the parking, walking and walking up the hills, getting there, leaving there is a complete nightmare from hell. Yeah and if you have asthma have fun too! Why anyone would want to live in the houses near the Bowl I do not know.
If you park under the Renaissance Mall(as I did when we went to see Cher at the Bowl last May)so do thousands of other people. It took us over and hour to get out of that parking garage. My advice is to park somewhere close to the subway in North Hollywood and take the train down there. Or park near a train entrance somewhere else in Hollywood and taking it up there. This is only if you want to hit a bar/club after a show. After the Cher show we did not get over to the bars in Weho until after 1230.
Screw The Bowl!!!!

Sheryl is going to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Lance Armstrong is the host. Stevie should go and make an appearance but I doubt she will.

Word to your mother !
I saw a show there for the first time (Nine Inch Nails) 2 weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. We parked at a bar on Sunset and took a cab there but it was leaving the venue that was a nightmare. Not knowing what to expect I was wearing high heeled boots and boy did I pay. Trying to walk out of there took us over 45 mintues and it was literally like a heard of cattle. No chance of getting a cab and we had to walk all the way south of Franklin to where my friend's car was parked to escape the madness. I've never see a traffic jam so bad.
The only chance of me ever going there again is if Stevie or FM is playing.

I saw the Thompson Twins there in the mid-80's. I remember doing LOTS of walking, but I thought the venue itself was cool. :wavey:

I saw Basement Jaxx and Röyksopp there just a couple of months ago. I love that place. I don't mind the walking (Concord Pavillion is worse for that) and I love the box seating and the beauty of the surroundings. Plus I also love that you can get bottles of wine, food service.
